I stayed for two nights with my two Shih Tzu dogs and didn’t leave the farm, enjoying the farm animals, birds, and the intriguing sights and sounds, and also spent time reading his book about Renagour, which added to the experience. Fig is super friendly, and a joy. Fresh honey or feed the horses, plenty to explore.
Check-in and check-out were straightforward, and it’s an easy drive from Wellington. I will definitely return when I need downtime.

This is my second stay at Harringtons The staff are friendly and very helpful. Comfortable, spacious rooms, with everything you need. Nice touches like welcome chocolates. Ground level accomodation with parking by your room. Heat Pump too!
The Esplanade and lovely riverside walks close by.
Highly recommend and I will be back.

Hotel staff are really nice, restaurant to very good, hotel room clean and spacious. Its undergoing renovation which is good as it has huge potentional. I think the lobby and bar area would be cool in an industrial type decor.

The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen was fantastic to cook in, lounge very warm and comfortable. Bedrooms spacious and the number of bathrooms a bonus! The additional touches of a drying rack for clothes was appreciated and information on the property upon our arrival was comprehensive. Would recommend this accommodation!

Spacious unit , with plenty of room . Spotlessly clean , and in very good condition . The bedrooms were a good size , with very comfortable beds . Good sized table , and plenty of chairs . Well equipped kitchen . Shower was very good , and a separate toilet was a bonus .

Very reasonably priced. There was a large group of us, we had rooms close together.
Our room (2 bedroom) was very comfortable and clean. Although friends of ours had trouble with a broken tap and toilet, which may need updating. Other than that, the location was away from town but suited us. No traffic noise.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom unit which was very spacious. The beds were super comfortable. Having cooking facilities, washing machine, clothes dryer, dishwasher are definates when traveling with a family.

Great for large groups. We booked a two bedroom and had a queen and single in one room and a queen is a separate room. Also 2 sofa beds in the lounge. So good for our large group if friends.

We only stayed here for one night however it was very warm, clean and comfortable. Gillian kindly upgraded our room after hearing about our travel difficulties. We really appreciated the gesture and the extra space.
Gillian was very helpful with advice about where to eat and which hikes would be achievable during our short visit. Our accommodation had a small well equipped kitchen area, however there is also a shared kitchen on site which I thought was a great idea.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hacienda motor lodge. The owners are just absolutely great people. They found out I was surprising my partner with a stay there and upgraded our room. The room was lovely, really good size and extremely clean with lots of great little touches like a coffee pod machine and milk frother, nice soaps and shampoo and a chocolate on the pillow. We'll definitely be staying here next time we're in the area.
