Beautiful ryokan nearby most of the attractions and bus station in Beppu. Private onsen was so nice to have in the morning and evening. Ran by a lovely family. Had the privilege of eating dinner and breakfast here as well.

Free beer in the lobby and onsen eggs outside the entrance. The footbath on the roof is always awesome. The onsens are great (including the in-room onsen). The room itself is excellent. The staff is exceptional. It was our second time visiting this ryokan and as we were leaving, one of the staff members said she recognized us from last year because we were in the lobby drinking beer again, so that gave us a good laugh!

28 miles from Oita Bank Dome in Yufu, Yufuin Onsen Ryokan Hananomai provides accommodations with access to a hot spring bath, public bath, and open-air bath.

Everything. Staff is really nice. They picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. The onsen experience was really amazing. They provided all the amenities and the space was very clean. The room is spacious with the garden view. Breakfast is also really good we can tell that they selected the best ingredients. The price is high but compared to the value given, it’s worth it! I would recommend anyone who wants to spend a night in Yufuin to stay at Hananomai.

Yufuin Rakuyu features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 28 miles of Oita Bank Dome and a 19-minute walk of Kinrinko Lake.

I had a great time staying here. The hotel provides pick-up from Beppu station as it locates far from main town. But just a 20’ drive. Not bad. The place is not big, but room is spacious. Bed is comfortable. Room has basic amenities but is clean and warm. The in-room onsen offers privacy and comfort. The food is superb. Meal is very delicious: breakfast and dinner. Each meal always keeps you full until the next. So much food. But the highlight would have been the staffs. They are exceptionally friendly and welcoming of guests. Always smiling and helping with everything you possibly need. I would definitely recommend you to stay 2-3 nights to enjoy the most of the place, and the town.

Akarinoyado Togetsu offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 16 miles of Oita Bank Dome and 3.7 miles of Beppu Station.

- Personnel is extremely attentive and nice to talk to - Food is very fresh and delicious - the room is great with a lot of complementary things offered (bags for wet clothes, socks, face treatment, ice cream in onsen, etc) - very cozy and hot onsen which is open until midnight - location is very convenient - I visited 5 hells of Beppu and museum by foot - spacious parking

Assi House is a recently renovated ryokan in Yufu where guests can make the most of the garden and terrace. This ryokan provides free private parking, private check-in and check-out, and free Wifi.
