Darling cottage that was very comfortable and well equipped. Owner was friendly and even brought a loaf of freshly baked bread every day. Location was perfect right at the bridge and easy walk to town.

Our stay at Urban Retreat was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Alan, Karen, and Stella are truly terrific hosts—so friendly, warm, and welcoming that you immediately feel at home the moment you arrive. Their pups and cat even came out to welcome us! The property itself is quiet and beautiful, with a lovely garden that makes the whole place feel peaceful and relaxing. One of the charming highlights was the chickens, which provide incredibly tasty fresh eggs—such a delightful touch that made breakfast even more special. The accommodation is fresh, airy, and spacious, with a modern feel and impeccable cleanliness. Every detail has clearly been thought through. It’s fully equipped with everything you need to feel comfortable, whether you’re staying for just a night or settling in for a longer visit. The generous breakfast was another wonderful bonus and a perfect way to start the day. The location is excellent—easy to find, conveniently located for exploring the area, and with easy parking right on site. It really is the ideal place for either a short getaway or a longer stay.
