The quirkiness and character of the cottage was so cosy, we loved the log fire. The heating had been put on so when we arrived it was warm. The instructions for the entry were very clear and the cottage is located a short walk from the lovely town with lots of lovely bars and cafes.

The Wild Daisy was fantastic! Everything was immaculately clean, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen very usable, and the upstairs living room unexpectedly nice. The location was perfect, with coffee shops and grocery stores nearby.

George came and met us and was kind to drive us to town to show us where the market was and we walked back to the cottage. Unfortunately I need up with a sciatica pain and George was so very kind to let me stay until our car and driver showed up which was well over the original check out time.

Pleasant little place. Clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Street leading to apartment iis very narrow as is typical of Yorkshire Dales so is not ideal for manoeuvring cars. Milk, coffee, tea and breakfast provisions were unexpectedly provided which was a nice touch.

The kitchen was fully equipped which I was really pleased with in order to cook home-made meals. The cottage itself is beautiful and highly maintained. The hot tub was a fabulous way to relax with plastic wine glasses which were catered for and a great idea to avoid any broken glass in the garden. The host helped us with parking directions upon our arrival as well. All in all, a beautiful place to go and stay for a lovely break away. I would highly recommend this stunning accommodation.

Central location with plenty on your doorstep but quiet and cosy inside. Kitchen was well equipped but it was the living room that really made it for us with comfy furniture and a lovely log burner.

Very comfortable and beautifully presented cottage in one of the friendliest towns we’ve ever been to! Lovely wood burning stove with wood provided and even a bottle of wine. Plenty of space, decently equipped kitchen. Comfy bed (didn’t use second bedroom).
