Mel is an amazing owner. She popped in to see us to check if ok. Really clear arrival instructions and exit ones. Spotlessly clean high standards. Would love to book the whole property at some point with friends 5 rooms. All facilities excellent. Yes there’s a pub next door but it’s not a hidden fact so no moaning from us.

It was wonderful. A great location near The Wave and short drive over the bridge into Wales. The host, Jayne, recommended places to eat and rather than drive into Bristol we took her advice and ate at a fabulous restaurant in Chepstow.

The cottage was so quiet and comfortable. I felt completely safe there and it was lovely to meet Bridget and Ollie Dog. I couldn't have felt more welcomed. Everything was so clean and I had all the utensils I needed. A lovely big bathroom as well. After a day of VERY WET & MUDDY mountain bike riding in the Forest of Dean, it was wonderful to come back and be able to clean up and relax in such a cosy space. Plenty of room for my car on the drive and directly outside the front door - perfect given the rain we had that weekend! Bridget even said I could bring my e-bike in to charge it up. Nothing felt like a big deal so I was completely relaxed. The directions given before I arrived helped immensely.
