Self-Catering Accommodations in Varenna

The location is very strategic, right by the pier and overlooking the lake. It is located at a charming little town where everyone knows everyone and you can find great products from local grocery store. Most importantly though, Sina, the hospitality manager was really really helpful - he helped arrange travel options for us, brought our luggages, solved minor problem when the hot water was turned off, provided great list of restaurants and boat rent options.

The house is wonderful! Perfectly clean and located in a very relaxing neighborhood above Varenna right next to the castle.

View from the apartment and our incredible host are the biggest positives. Across many years and many apartment bookings, I haven’t met a host so cordial and helpful. You are an amazing host Silvia.

The apartment is very spacious and very clean and you get a very nice view of the lake and surrounding mountains from the terrace. The kitchen is well equipped and you could also find oil, salt and pepper, some spices and coffee and tea there. There is also a private parking space in a garage that is easy to access that you could use during your stay and that is very important as parking is a problem in the area. Nicole and Marta our hosts were very nice and accommodating. There is a lot of turism info in the apartment including some booklets regarding the villas and castles that you could visit in the area, hiking trails as well as the ferry schedule. We really appreciated our host’s attention to details. There was also a nice bottle of sparkling wine and some pretzels waiting for us in the living room. That’s a very nice touch! The apaetment was beautiful and clean and the location so close to the bus station, walking distance to the city center. We also loved the view and the fact that the lake was right over the street from the house. The host was responsive and really nice. Great stay!

Spacious, clean , well equipped apartment which had a private balcony with a beautiful view of Lake Como and surroundings. Very close walk to Varenna-Esino train station, ferries and the town center.

Very clean and modern with an old world charm in some of the furnishings. Very well done! Great location with a short walk from both the train station and the water front! Host provided videos to aid in checkin and walking instructions from the Varenna-Esino train station and a nice overview packet of things to do upon arrival. Nicely equipped unit with special touches from a great host!

The most perfect location- amazing value for money. Also a few days before we were due to arrive the rental company sent a very detailed email with pictures of how to find the property which was so helpful.

Beautiful views and fun streets to explore. Look for the waterfalls. Decent walk into town but perfect for after dinner; aides in digestion.

Everything was as described and more. Fabio left a well-stocked kitchen for us, instructions were clear, and he was very attentive all the way through. The apartment has gorgeous views, and we enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the terrace.

Amazing cozy place!!! Such a convenient location! Quiet place, clean and fancy, having everything needed. Huge privet backyard, beautiful terrace-balcony. The place is closed to lake it self, 3 min walk in from lake view point, 8 min walk in from main Piazza, 10 min away walk in to both main villas and a secure parking. A good cafe-pastry across the building (1 min walk in). I want to mention specially the communication and attitude of the owner: Oscar is a great person! Easy to communicate with and to get any important information from him! We stock in traffic coming from Venice, but he was patiently waiting for us, giving us a grace period to came and welcoming us very warm. In addition, we had many complementary things like free caffe and tee, a couple bottles of water, and even a bottle of wine. I never regretted booking this place, and I would do this again if come to visit Como. I would recommend this place to everyone being sure people will be lucky to spend time at Dada in Varenna - Relaxing Lake House! We spend only one day at the place, and I didn’t want to leave!
