We loved the location. It was quiet but close to the action. The design was comfortable and maximized the beautiful views. The property was clean with small touches throughout that added to the character and the overall experience. Our host, Gregory was responsive, knew the area very well, and consistently checked in to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

WE LOVE IT! It is as stunning as it is in the pictures - if not more so. The tent is spacious and well-equipped. Warm enough to get through a rainy windy night without getting stuffy. Bathroom is squeaky clean. Deanne and Trevor are lovely and responsive.

The property looked great on the photos but it was even better in person. Was lovely to have the indoor/outdoor space on warm Hawke's Bay days and the owners were very generous in the supplies they left, everything was thought of so you didn't have to worry about buying a whole roll of foil or bottle of oil just to use a little bit. Homegrown produce from the garden was a special touch.

This place was impeccably done. Beautifully finished, great layout, nice and warm and a handy location too! We had two families stay and the layout was perfect to have our own private bedroom/bathroom spaces and meet in the middle with the lounge/dining/kitchen. Highly recommended!

We loved the Tim & Kirsten‘s little cottage. It was super well equipped with everything that you need. Kirsten even put some food for us in the fridge - she was absolutely the best. Tim owns the winery in the back of the cottage. We had the best tour of the property and an excellent wine tasting session with the man himself. We can only recommend staying at this lovely place.

The cottage is beautiful furnished and equipped for comfort. Loved the front and back table and seating area to enjoy the sunshine at all time of day. The view of the sheep and llama was lovely. Everything was fully stocked, luxurious and thoughtful.

Lovely property with a great view. 15-20 minute drive from the city. Perfectly located between the city and the Gannet colony. Facilities were clean and comfortable. Would stay again.
