Self-Catering Accommodations in Carcavelos

The hosts were very welcoming. Shared some good food places and gave a tour of the place and where things were / how they worked. They were exceptional at meeting requests (we asked for a non stick pan and they delivered no questions asked, needed a solution to rotate keys between family members and they hooked us up with the keybox)

The apartment was very comfortable with a lovely ocean view. Well equipped to cook and great parking. João was very responsive and just all around great host. Highly recommend

Because one of us is quite tall, we got offered a different room for free which was super nice. We felt very welcome and the breakfast was delicious. It's a pity I didn't have time to take surfing lessons:( Wish we could've stayed here longer.

Delightful and charming. This apartment felt like I was a guest in someone's home. The location was perfect, quiet and residential but walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the train station. The kitchen was well stocked, and even in chilly November, the apartment was warm and cozy. The apartment was the perfect size for a family of three or four.

Gated community with security guard at entrance. Felt very safe & everyone on the property was very friendly.

Everything. Most importantly the great team of staff members and volunteers who provide support whenever you need it. While the volunteers are mainly great for the vibe inside the hostel and among guests, the founding team provides extraordinary support in regards to surf spots (how to approach them, when to go there, what to be careful with, etc.), traveling Lisbon and the area around. I have even seen some of them giving language support to a language student who was studying. You can book theoretical and practical surf classes with local legends from Carcavelos. This place is as close to perfection as it gets. Seriously, if you want to stay in the Lisbon area and explore not only downtown Lisbon but the area around as well, go here. The place is located in the perfect spot, close to public transport, with easy highway access, the beach not even 5 minutes away... Everything was clean and well-maintained, it is obvious that some passionate people put all their heart into this project. Here you will not feel like in one of these hostel factories that have popped up all over the globe, where young guests get put into a cheap location for cheap money. However, it is the contrary. Some young and nice locals fulfil their own dream to run a hostel - and they live that dream to the fullest. Have never been welcomed to a surfspot with such warmth and care. Thank you for everything, we will meet again soon!

Quiet location close to the train station of Carcavelos. The apartment was great with a very comfortable bed and nicely stocked kitchen. The host Kristina was very friendly and attentive - highly recommended!

There were 2 separated badrooms. Heating.

3rd floor, view over a park and proximity to restaurants, stores. Beach is also not far. Apartment very clean, modern and charming. Host is also very nice and knows the area very well.

Fantastic location with lots of local eateries and a grocery store nearby. Just a 2 minute walk to the beach! Property was spacious, comfortable, well equipped for cooking, and included beach chairs and umbrellas that we were able to use.

Host was super friendly and nice. The apartment had more than everything we needed and it was in a really peaceful neighbourhood. All the towels and bed sheets smelled really nice and were clean. Will stay again if I get the chance to travel to Portugal again. :)

This apartment has absolutely everything you need for a practical stay! We really enjoyed our time there and would be glad to return. The apartment is very comfortable and cosy, so are the bed and bedding, the shower is big, the kitchen is very well equipped, we only have nice things to say. Plus, the location is super nice of course, and you have lots of great restaurants nearby, everything you need. The hostess is wonderful, we were very well received and supported by Maria João, once again, thank you!
