Spa hotels in Hakuba

Clean, comfortable, quiet, zen, spacious, offered complimentary local delicacies in the evening, wine, sake, tea. Easy access to sauna and hot bath on the premises. Good breakfast, shuttle access to ski areas although we had a car so it was easier to get around without relying on the shuttle. A few decent restaurants in the vicinity, but had to drive further for more choices. Young staff really attentive, professional and helpful. I would stay here again.

My partner and I stayed in the Japanese style room. It was very spacious and welcoming. It’s a great hotel to stay at if you’re snowboarding skiing as they have storage facilities. We loved the private onsen and booked it most nights. The view of the mountains from our window was particularly magical. The staff were very helpful and attentive. We were sad to leave. Thank you Hakuba Hotel Ougiya!

Extremely accomodating and friendly staff, went above and beyond expectations. The bath was a wonderful bonus after a long day on the mountain. 5 min walk to Hakuba Goryu.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and it was amazing. The vibes were something out of a movie. There was a massage chair in the lounge with heating, perfect after a day skiing. Karen collected us from the station, cooked us breakfast each morning (must try the Taiwan omelette!) and dropped us to the best ski fields to beat the crowds. Her cooking was tasty and she even left local snacks and hot chocolates for us in the evening. On my birthday she gave us cake, lit a fire and roasted marshmallows. Had the best time here. Close to Harris (tasty local food for so cheap, get there early), seven eleven, big hakuba supermarket, fifteen minutes walk to echoland and around the corner from the snow park at nomads.
