Cool, quaint & quirky. Amazing shade canopy of ancient pines surround this original 1800s cottage. If you like old world without glitz and glamour this is for you. Perfect for motor biking Gisborne and surrounding areas. Kathryn, the owner is lovely and very accomodating. She allowed us to store our bikes in her implement shed, which was ideal. There is plenty of room for larger towing vehicles and trailer.

The hosts ensured the heaters were on in the cottage, so it was warm on arrival. Beds were comfortable and the shower excellent. I would stay again.

Hot water, heating, this was a particularly cold week. Nice little town which had a good supermarket, & local attractions.
