Absolutely perfect. The unexpected little garden in the back for a late night glass of wine or early morning coffee puts this place over the top. The host made sure everything we would need was available. I can’t say enough about how amazing this stay was.

Amazing location and our kids loved our daily walks along the Caladonian Canal. Very homey and cozy cottage with all the comforts of home. The washer and dryer were a huge plus and the kitchen had everything we needed for a few home cooked meals. Host was lovely and very communicative. Super easy check in/check out process. Close to the city center and some of the most beautiful nature we came across in the UK (our kids loved the Monkey Puzzle tree next door!). Highly recommend!

The Doune house is in a good location, close to Inverness with its wide array of shopping and restaurants. The house is easily accessible from the A9 and it is also close to the train station in the center of the city and a short drive to the Inverness airport. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped, including both an induction stove, and an Aga stove in the kitchen, and full laundry facilities. The geothermal in-floor heating system made all three floors of the house comfortably warm. The rooms are well-furnished, including the sitting room with a fire place. The house is a perfect base for day trips to historic sites and hiking trails.
