The location is stunning. The villa is truly magnificent. Wish we were able to stay longer.

This property is a hidden gem tucked away on the cliff side with spectacular views of the Amalfi coast. It is cared for by 4 sisters who truly pride themselves on the property & ensuring their guests have the best stay possible. We were greeted by Paola & she checked in on us frequently ensuring we had everything we needed from restaurant recommendations to transportation & possible tours.

Villa Luigi is truly heaven on earth. We were honored to be one of the first guest to get to call this magical property home for a few days while we celebrated our honeymoon. The views and exterior spaces are absolutely breathtaking, and the home offers a level of privacy that makes it feel like your own private piece of the Almafi coast. The villa is spacious, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to relax and unwind. One of the highlights was the luxurious soaking tub—a perfect way to end our day while taking in the serene surroundings, the mountains, ocean, and town lights below. We spent hours there just looking out and watching the sun go down. The charming kitchen, though cozy in height (my husband is 6’3” and just barely fit), was well-equipped and full of character. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches from the host, including local products that made us feel welcomed and immersed in the region. We enjoyed the kitchen and house so much we ended up wanting to spend all our time here and ended up cooking the majority of our meals here. Although the area is surrounded with amazing restaurants and views, none could beat our own private villa. A few practical notes: be prepared for some steps (as is the case for most the Almafi coast), and we recommend having a car to explore the area comfortably (a private parking spot up the hill was included!). Due to the villa’s historic features and character, it may also not be the best fit for very tall guests (kitchen area only, which might be a positive for some lol) or those with mobility concerns. We fell in love with Villa Luigi and hope to get the opportunity to return to build more cherished memories in this magical place. If you want to truly unwind and are lucky enough to get the opportunity to stay here, take it!

The unexpected surprise of the Villa being better than I imagined, the place was beautiful, in a perfect location, very clean and the host Pasquale was extremely accommodating. Every bedroom has its own bath, Kitchen was well-equipped. The first morning we woke up to two delicious crostatas, and the following morning to the famous pastry from the area. We had a fantastic time. Thank You

Beautifully located above the Amalfi coast, the villa is exceptionally well presented and Frederico is always at hand to deal with any issues or questions that we had. To be highly recommended.

What an amazing property! There really is nothing bad to say about this place. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The host was available when and if we needed and was very friendly and accommodating for our group of 5. The market is not far but be aware of the hours as they close from 2:30-5:30. The winery beside was also exceptional. We hope to be back one day.

It’s close to everything, cute neighborhood. The apartment it’s spacious and has everything, good restaurants around. Only 25 min from Amalfi, the road it’s a sightseeing. Angelo it’s the best host! Thank you for everything and we definitely recommend!

This was just exceptional!! Loved it , the location, the room, the staff, clean, just great!! Not the crowded Amalfi center, easy to get to in bus or taxi. The staff always willing to help and very responsive!!

All the reviews we read were true -- the villa and the staff from the Hotel Margherita were amazing. The villa (a short walk from the hotel) is very spacious, and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves. Three nice bedrooms, two of which have en suite bathrooms with nice showers. (A third bathroom is right next to the third bedroom.) It's a small kitchen, but has nice appliances, Nespresso machine, large refrigerator and lots of dishes and glassware. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the beautiful terrace and and had wine and snacks in the evening. The views and terraces in the back garden were spectacular. Breakfast at the hotel is phenomenal, with choices for everyone, and also had very friendly staff. There were even several items for people with gluten sensitivity and milk substitutes available for the coffee and cappuccino. The shuttle van from the hotel was available to take us to the marina for dinner one night at Il Pirata, and another day for a Capri boat tour. The staff at the desk was so helpful and kind and always available to answer any questions or give recommendations.

A stunning most stunning setting overlooking the Amalfi coast. The home was so well equipped and comfortable. Francesca and Roberto were wonderful hosts. They gave us directions for transportation … cooked the best raviolis ever! We attended Roberto’s cooking class on a balcony overlooking the water.. it was amazing! G

What I really enjoyed about the property was the location; the bus stop was right there, had a mini market right across the street, and about a 20 min drive to Amalfi and 10 min drive up to the Path of Gods. Great place to stay for exploring the coast!

The cutest grandma apartment with incredible views! Loved the patio! Had everything we needed and in a very quiet location. Was nice to have dedicated parking across the street. The hosts left us a delicious cake upon arrival and were available for any questions.

I liked everything about this property: the view, the house itself, the terrace, all the little cute items in the house, fully equipped kitchen, warm welcome from the hosts, grocery and restaurant close by, bus stop, parking, everything you may need. The location is quiet and super authentic. But the best were definitely the hosts! Amazing people! I’m so grateful I’ve met them 🙏

Our stay was amazing at Nonna Elvira’, the house was sparkling clean, everything was top quality, spacious house with breathtaking sea view! Vittoria was super kind, she went out of her way to accommodate us! We are very grateful to her for making our stay a wonderful experience!

It is evident how much money and effort the owners have put into this place. It’s a stunning place some really well. It’s not easy doing all that on a cliff so one can appreciate the efforts put into the construction and upgrades made in the place. The structure and bones are solid. The interior has some expensive high end fittings and finishes. This place is right next to a really good restaurant so it can be convenient to just grab a quick meal. The location is so central to the coast. Going in either direction towards positano or Maoiri is not too far. A place like this could cost at least double if you were staying in Positano. Rosa the owner and Sara the manager both very responsive and helpful with absolutely anything and accommodated special requests. Both great to work with. Highly recommend this place.
