Villas in Midigama East

The staff, the location, the facilities, the cleaning, the food and the swimming pool - it was all great !! Exceeded our expectations and was truly fantastic

Our stay at the villa in Ahangama was truly unforgettable. The villa was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared with attention to every detail. We were especially impressed that they came early in the morning to prepare breakfast for us at the house. It was such a kind and special gesture. We truly felt at home throughout our stay. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality, kindness, and attentiveness. We highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Ahangama and would definitely love to come back again.

Whole villa surrounded by lovely greeneries. Western style with wooden touches that makes it very warm. Recently renovated. Equipped with a kitchen, linens, outdoor poolside seating, bed canopies and even mosquito repellent. Villa staff served us at their best, offering some very delicious and authentic local dishes. Breakfast is inclusive, but other meals come with additional cost. Villa attendant, Nimali, was very helpful too and very responsive.

The house is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for large groups. The staff are incredibly nice and hospitable, making us feel right at home. Rawinthka's cooking is exceptional; the meals in the house were truly the highlight of our holiday. Everything was just perfect, and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

The house is a five minute walk to the beach, tucked away in a nice quiet area. Additionally, the host is one of the kindest men you can hope to meet! The rain shower was great for rinsing off after spending time in the ocean.

Privacy, it's very private and comfortable. The staff was very nice and assisting. Property is pretty neat

A Charming Colonial Stay with Modern Comforts This restored colonial property offers an authentic and charming atmosphere with a perfect blend of history and modern comforts such as multi-plug adapters, both bed and overhead lighting and mosquito nets. The rooms are quiet and feature comfortable beds and newly renovated bathrooms—even better than what’s shown in the current photos on Booking. The WiFi was reliable in my room, allowing me to work and stream video without any issues. The outdoor seating areas are lovely, providing a peaceful space to relax. A highlight of my stay was the incredible Sri Lankan-style omelette—the best I’ve had in over two weeks of traveling here! Beyond the setting, the staff were exceptionally warm, kind, and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I was genuinely sad to leave and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

Amazing place, comfortable and good location. Staff was very helpful, even helping us to arrange a whale watching expedition. Food was really good (breakfast). The private pool was great.

Staff were fantastic! The location was everything we wanted: a beautiful pool and beach a few steps away! Our room was really spacious, clean and comfortable and had a great view of the pool and beach - as do all the rooms. The food was incredible. So wonderful in fact, that we dined at the hotel every evening, as well as enjoying the fantastic breakfast options each morning.

I absolutely loved the complete privacy and peaceful vibe of the villa — it felt like our own little oasis away from everything. The welcome fresh mango juice on arrival was such a thoughtful touch that instantly made us feel at home after traveling. Everything was impeccably clean, with no bugs or issues at all, and the fully equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, toaster, mixer, kettle — even a freezer!) was a huge bonus for cooking simple meals. The air-conditioned rooms were super comfortable and quiet, perfect for relaxing after beach days, and the mosquito nets added that extra peace of mind. The hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful without being overbearing, and genuinely made us feel like family. For the price, the value is outstanding — a whole private villa with all these comforts!

The accommodation was clean and well maintained, with comfortable beds and good amenities. The staff were welcoming and responsive. Location was convenient and quiet at night. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Everything was a 10/10. The lake views are simply indescribable, calm, expansive, and deeply soothing. The entire place feels incredibly peaceful, a true escape from noise and rush. One of the most magical moments was sitting in the outdoor hot bathtub at night, surrounded by silence, watching the stars above the lake. 2 minutes walking to the beach.
