Very comfortable house, perfect for a family or a group of friends.

Location very close to downtown area. View from front not great but gorgeous view of ferns on the hillside outside the kitchen window. Loved that it was so close to the Janet Frame house. It was a fun, quirky old fashioned cottage. A nice change from the more modern ones we've been staying in. Additionally, there was a small garden with flowers and fresh herbs which we picked to use in our simple melas. And, last, we loved we could make a wood fire and warm it up to make it more cosy. We would definitely return here.

Great little house. Will be back again

This is a super property! 4 spacious bedrooms, very clean, heaters in all the rooms. Seems like it is pretty new. We didn’t cook but the kitchen facilities were very good. There is a bathtub and separate shower. Would highly recommend this property for a large family or group travelling. We would stay again.

Hostess had put in a lot of effort to make us feel at home including extra little specials such as chocolates and homegrown tomatoes left at our door on another day. A beautiful home with the hostess obviously trying to make it outstanding for her tenants. There was a playroom for children with games etc. and toilet facilities downstairs and upstairs. Heaps of kitchen appliances and facilities. A beautifully furnished home.

Everything, the view, the accommodation and the location for an easy walk to the heritage centre. We went to the Little Blue Penguin evening and ate at the Del Mar Restaurant next door beforehand. Recommend that you book (online) beforehand. The Victorian Precinct is a nice place to stroll. The Whitestone City Museum is interesting and we ate at The Criterion Hotel here.

Clean, spacious and beautiful garden.

The batch was immaculate, spacious and beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The yard was beautiful as well. Close proximity to town, gas and supermarkets.

The view and location was perfect.

Really cool old house. It's one of the things about it that makes it a unique Oamaru experience. Close enough to downtown to be there in just a couple minutes, far enough away to be quite.
