It was a beautiful property both indoors and out, with plenty of space for our group of six. We were able to use herbs from the small organic garden, there was a pool and a large area with bricked grill for cooking. The host was easy to reach both before and during our stay and was very accommodating. We had to cancel our first day because of a cancelled flight and we had no trouble with a refund. On our last day when a flight out was also cancelled (foggy conditions) the host offered us use of the small apartment on site for 2 of us who had to stay an extra night on the island because of the flight cancellation. That was such a blessing. We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta do Rosario.

Very easy to get into the property (aside from the lock being finicky). The host emails you a video that shows what the front door looks like so you know for sure you're in the right spot. This was much appreciated. The ocean view from the kitchen and porch is beautiful. The kitchen is spacious with (almost) everything you'd need to cook. The bedrooms are quiet. As someone who prefers a firm mattress, i really appreciated the mattresses which were comfortable and felt new.
