The outside garden area was quite lovely and that is where we spent most of our time since it was a bit crowded inside. Also the location to the Geres Forest/Park was a short distance car ride.

Beautiful and peaceful location right next to a river. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful.

We loved the creativity of the space built into boulders; the generosity of the hosts and the amazing chocolate cake they gifted us; the gardens and various spots to hang out outside; the vista… we would come back again any time!

Everything, well equipped, isolated, very tranquil and with a lovely setting. The access to the creek, with nature all around and very fresh water helps with hot summer days. The sound of water, everything was a great experience

We loved staying in this village. The accommodations were clean, uncluttered, comfortable, and historic yet modern. The owner was very responsive and helped us get reservations at the local-fare restaurant a short walk from the house, navigate the area, understand the history and culture of the area, and find great places to walk and explore. There is so much history and natural beauty in the area, and this house is a fabulous home base. One of the best parts of the location was having the local cows arriving in the evening to drink at the spring just outside our door.
