Absolutely loved the character and charm of the hotel, the facilities, the lounge area for breakfast/evening drinks, ease of use of the washer/dryer that was there. The hotel was in a quiet residential section of Kyoto, yet access to Nijo Castle, the Imperial Palace and downtown Kyoto was very easy and within a 15 minute walk. Access to the train stations and Uber/Taxi's were equally easy. Amazing local restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel - highly recommend Daigan around the corner for an amazing sushi with an engaging/entertaining/welcoming chef.

It's a really nice space with everything you need. We stayed with 5 person's. And there was more than enough room. Nice location, and just like in the pictures.

The house was beautiful and very nice and lovely. We only stayed there for 2 nights and we had a car so locations wasn’t too much of an issue for us. The check in hotel was a bit hard to find when walking through the station I must say. But overall it was amazing and I would stay there again! This hotel made my kids and husbands first trip to Kyoto an amazing one!

Fantastic home. A lot of the other locations we stayed during our trip were very tiny, so it was nice to have actual space during this part of the stay. The home itself was spotless, you would have thought you were walking into a show home. 3 bedrooms. Two upstairs with 3 beds each (6 total), separated space downstairs functions as third room with 2 futons. The futons were VERY comfortable and the area is closed off by sliding doors from the main living room and kitchen space. Two toilets and then a main shower room. Kitchen was excellent size. Highly recommend.
