John was a wonderful host. He described places near the property that we might enjoy. The shower was clean and the temp and pressure were great. The bed was quite comfortable and the blanket was very warm. The WiFi was strong and there were ample outlets to charge our phones and other devices. Breakfast was fresh and outstanding! We couldn’t ask for much more.

Our hosts left a sweet treat for us, and I had mentioned that we may need some ice for my husband's sore knee and they had an entire bag ready for us!! The washer/dryer was so helpful. I loved the deep bathtub with shiny knobs. I so wish we could have stayed longer!! The games and books ready for us, the wood, ready for the fire, the amazing kitchen I wish we could have used more. I loved using the pretty dishes. Thanks for a lovely stay!!

We stayed at the Maynard for one night after a trip to Chatsworth House and we absolutely loved it. The entire hotel lived up to our expectations and more. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again.

The Maynard is a very special place for us as it was the venue of our wedding 10 years ago. Like to return as much as possible for drinks and meals and we’re looking at a overnight stay for a 10 year anniversary. The staff brilliant. The venue is great in decor and the variety of drinks available was superb.

Whats not to like. Beautiful hotel, really comfy bed, fantastic decor, really friendly staff, food was superb. Would highly recommend. Location was fantastic amazing views. Only sorry stay was only 1 night, will definitely return. High up on my favourite list thank you.
