Accommodation was easy to find, felt very private with your own key that was easy to access. Lovely welcome note on arrival that made you feel you were being looked after. Good sized room, nice communal space if needed. Good facilities in the room, tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Good location close to the motorway but tucked away and quiet.

This was such a perfect night stay for me and my partner we absolutely loved it. We has spent the day in cheddar gorge and I chose this as it was a local drive away. The hosts were always updating with stay details through this bookings website and made it easy and smooth to access the hut. The shepherds hut Doris was just so lovely inside and out, the bed was very comfy too and under this were some pull put drawers with table and 2 chairs we put up for when eating inside for the evening and morning coffee as it was abit chilly out when we stayed. Everything fel.t he little touches of the welcome package with delicious tiffin s were perfect. We had an amazing stay so thank you so much :)

well-appointed hotel in a countryside setting a short drive from the M5, the hotel is dated but the area of the hotel and room that I stayed in was recently improved. room was excellent however the shower tray was dangerous with no handrail or non-slip surface. staff were fantastic and very passionate about working there, breakfast was well presented and good value for money I will stay here again.

lovely welcome, room clean, but overall hotel needs a refurb/updating. Food at all times was good. All staff were very friendly and helpful. All areas of hotel were clean Had treatments booked in the spa. We were supposed to have treatments at the same time but as a member of staff was unwell we had to go separately which meant we had time on our own. Pool/spa area very clean. Overall we still had a pleasant stay

Beautiful views looking out across mendip hills. The young man at reception was very welcoming at checkin. We used the steam room and the swimming pool, which was lovely. The lady on reception was also very friendly. We only stayed one night after visiting Cheddar gorge and lots of walking. The room was a little dated, but clean. The breakfast was very good and the food was hot and refilled quickly.

Helpful, very friendly staff. Room was very nice for a relaxing stay. Swimming, gym and spa facilities were clean and enjoyable. Lovely location. Would recommend the cafe Frankie Howerd Cafe walking distance.
