Reasonably clean and comfortable. This is not a luxury hotel, it is a great value for money base for seeing the local area.

The inside of the house has been beautifully renovated and it was very comfortable. Everything was clean and the facilites were good. Despite being right in the middle of the town, it was very quiet.

Debbie and the family were so hospitable, and the food was great. The High Tea was outstanding and they even packed up my left overseas to nibble on for the rest of the after noon. Quiet...I slept really well!

Middlewick Farm was not only a perfect location for direct walking access to the Glastonbury Tor, but the food in their cafe was absolutely superb! Organic, local, and seasonal offerings, fresh ingredients, cozy atmosphere - we were very impressed with the food. Our cottage was darling, clean, and so quaint! We loved walking straight out our door, all the way up to the Tor, and circling back the long ways around. The staff was friendly and helpful and answered our questions. We were very jet-lagged, but enjoyed our stay here immensely!

The staff were lovely and the price was very good! Would highly recommend.

City arms has a great location -On the high street, c!one to the cathedral and bus station. The attached pub was not noisy. The room was comfortable and had good wifi.

I booked the George Inn at 7pm on a Sunday evening of a BH weekend after getting rained off from my camping. The place was still busy with the Sunday lunch crowd and clearly the host couple had been flat out busy all day. Nevertheless they were both absolutely charming and quickly showed me a lovely comfortable room and got me a meal and a pint followed by some excellent home made Victoria sponge. Before long I was co-opted onto one of the pub quizz teams and had a great evening in front of the toasty open fire with my new friends. Lovely people who run a great little Inn.

Breakfast was excellent. Location just right for local walks and reaching town.

The room was very spacious, with a comfortable sitting area and a large bathroom. The hospitality was fantastic, and I enjoyed the breakfast and conversations with the owners. The mill grounds were interesting to see as well.

Everything was SUPERB! Jerry & Tanya are exceptional hosts and tour guides. Check in and check out was efficient and seamless. The location of the property was perfect in Wells, 30 mins drive from Bristol airport and only a few mins from the high street with several shops, bars and restaurants. Wells is also a ideal location for tripping around Somerset with several beautiful towns, attractions within 30 mins. The cottage was fantastic and certainly not what you would expect from a rental property. The attention to detail in every room exceeded any expectations we had. Easy to see that Tanya has a clear eye for interior design. The garden area was stunning and especially at night when lit up. We loved sitting out there for pre dinner evening drinks The beds were very very comfortable and the bed linen was of high quality. The kitchen had everything one could ask for - the coffee machine was a nice bonus as was the array of herbal teas on offer. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wishing to visit Wells, Somerset

Lovely large flat in a great location. Right downtown and a block from the cathedral and Bishops Palace. Everything you need for a short or long stay. Clean, comfortable with great hosts. Great shower with constant temp and good pressure. Bathroom is small, but well laid out.

Excellent location just a few minutes walk from the High Street so no need to use the car. Parking was a massive bonus, although would be a tight squeeze with a big car! House was lovely, well equipped, beds extremely comfortable and the welcome gift of chocolates and milk in the fridge was greatly appreciated after a long drive from London.

This is a lovely studio flat in the heart of Wells. Nicely appointed with a full kitchen. There were some food items left by previous guests and some lovely treats left by the management. It's a perfect place to prepare food and eat in the flat without having to go to restaurants. The flat is ground floor, easy access from the street, secure and quiet. The Hive is located on the High Street with shops and restaurants nearby and a nice old-fashioned pub a few steps away. I would recommend this property to anyone wishing to make a long or short stay in Wells.

This house was outstanding!!! It was safe, clean and tidy. It felt warm and friendly. It was beautifully laid out and decorated. Every thing we needed to work in the kitchen was available including milk coffee and tea! I am a cook so I was delighted to see there were enough good pots pans, dishes and flatware available. The knives were sharp and if they weren't there was a knife sharpener. Instructions for everything were available. The bathroom upstairs was beautiful. Who did that amazing green tile work. The bedroom had ample closets. I could have moved in! There were even books to peruse and information of where to visit. AND it was centrally located!! We loved being there! Wells is a wonderful city to visit and this cottage was a wonderful place to stay!
