New ZealandMark and Lydie were excellent hosts. Staff were very friendly. We had an excellent meal on our first evening there. Breakfast each morning was excellent as Mark asked us what time we wanted it. Good selection of fruit etc; and then a full English each day although we just had scrambled eggs on toast on our last morning. Beds were extremely comfortable, so much so that our friend who also stayed there for a couple of nights said it was the first time in years that he had not woken up with neckache.

Was a lovely cozy stay. Everything and more that we needed. The flapjacks, coffee pods and other complimentary items were a lovely touch. Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation. Very close to amenities, and a nice peaceful location.

The location was excellent with easy access to eating places, theme park, Waterpark. There was also a gated private entrance to the beach. The owners of the property are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay lovely. The welcome package was so good, full of essentials. Me and my little one had a lovely holiday, will be definitely back!

Hosts were excellent and knowledgeable about sights worth visiting. Travelling alone and felt very safe and secure at Watermead House. Good quality food and cooked to perfection. Room spotlessly clean with everything I required. Can’t speak highly enough of hosts and accommodations. Will definitely return.

We loved how spacious the room was and the location was brilliant for our family holiday.
Fast and easy check in and friendly staff.
We stayed during one of the hottest days of the year and there was a fan supplied for us on arrival which was excellent.

The new barn is a beautiful and cosy stay which is located on the loveliest farm with very friendly farm animals. My partner and baby loved the horses! The accommodation was very clean, modern and had all required facilities to make your stay as convenient as possible. The garden and views are just spectacular and we were amazed at how quiet is was. Hosts are friendly and accommodating! Thank you so much.

The whole experience was so effortless, from booking to leaving our stay.
I had a few queries to make whilst there, and the host answered promptly to my emails.
The holiday home was very clean, comfortable. It was very close the the shop, entertainment and food outlets, with a sea view, also a cracking spot to see the sunset.

Absolutely loved our stay! Was only staying one night but after a couple of hours there we booked another night.
Pod was extremely clean and cosy.
Staff are very Friendly and helpful. Even let us borrow some board games to play.
We used the firepit whilst staying and loved it.
Can't wait to book up again.
Very peaceful and quiet on a night. We didn't use the bar but the shop had a good collection of food and holiday essentials.

Very friendly and helpful host. Exceptional accommodation with everything in it we needed. The kitchen and shower were great. Parking was very close. And there is a lovely little garden. Also, the location in the town was very good. Thus from start to finish we had a super stay and would definitely recommend Smith Cottages, no question.
