The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and all the amenities were thoughtfully provided. The host was warm, friendly, and very welcoming. Our daughter especially loved seeing the sheep grazing right in front of the pod. Waking up to the peaceful surroundings, with stunning sunrises and sunsets, made our stay even more special. If you’re looking for a peaceful nature getaway, this is the perfect place.

United KingdomWe had such a wonderful stay and honestly can’t recommend Beechwood Cottage highly enough. Paul (and Yogi 🐶) were exceptional hosts from the moment we arrived, warm, welcoming, and friendly, which made our stay very relaxing.
The room itself was beautiful and stylish, with everything thoughtfully arranged and all the facilities you could possibly need. The bed deserves a special mention because it was incredibly comfortable! Easily one of the best nights’ sleep we’ve had away from home.
One of the highlights was the breakfast delivered straight to our room. It was absolutely amazing and felt like a real treat to start the day. And we can’t forget the cakes from their bakery - absolutely delicious.
We were also travelling with our dog, and it was great to have a safe and welcoming space where he could enjoy the stay just as much as we did. That made a big difference for us.
All in all, a fantastic stay with lovely hosts, great food, and a relaxing atmosphere. We’re already looking forward to coming back again soon.

Nice to visit and stay at a small castle. The stay was price worthy with both very good evening super with an excelent breakfeast. My daughter with husband and child has a suite whcih was increadable.

Overall just a fantastic experience. Staff very friendly and helpful, dinner was absolutely 10/10 both nights we stayed - possibly one of the best meals I've ever had. Amazing location, super remote. Rooms/corridors need a little TLC but that's completely forgotten the second you step out into the grounds, or back into the bar and dining room!

Lovely!!! To stay in a castle is amazing. The grounds were gorgeous, we don’t play golf but walking around the golf course was stunning nonetheless. The castle was quiet at most times. The rooms were decorated timely.

The location was lovely. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is basic but good value and ideal for a stop over. It was great having the self catering facilities and a dining room.

The grounds are fantastic and the location at the foot of two large hills with a river running by is unbelievably beautiful. Our dinner was delicious and felt very fancy for being in the middle of nowhere. My husband and I were walking the Cateran Trail and this was the only available lodging at the the Spitral of Glenshee and it turned out to be an excellent place to stay,

Friendly staff hell bent on doing everything to help you make the most of your stay. Very warm and comfortable the food was first rate and the hotel was spotlessly clean. Stunning views in a first rate holiday setting, the perfect relaxing get away Looking forward to going back.

The Hotel was amazing, we stayed for 6 nights and was very well looked after, our room was fabulous and was serviced every day, very clean.
The staff are very friendly and went out of they way to make sure you enjoyed your stay and felt relaxed.
Thank you for your kindness you showed my husband after his recent stroke, unfortunately he suffered another one on our way home, so this didn't give us a great end to our holiday, but as soon as he recovers we will be back.
