Our Glenshee Suite is one of just three beautiful guest rooms here at Beechtree Cottage, giving you a peaceful and personal stay. Our Cairngorm Suite and Ardle Family Room have been welcoming guests for over a year and we’re proud to have achieved 9.8 ratings on this Booking site.
We offer an easy self check-in system, so you can arrive at a time that suits you best. The owners are usually on site too, so help is always close at hand if you need anything during your stay.
Your pre-ordered breakfast will be delivered to your room at your chosen time, so you can relax and enjoy it in your own space without rushing.
There’s a friendly public bar right next door, and meals are available in the village. We’re always happy to share more details and local recommendations, just ask.
Paul genuinely loves welcoming people and making sure every guest feels looked after and completely at home. Nothing makes him happier than knowing someone has had a truly lovely stay.
Many people also know Paul as the Kilted Baker. He’s an award-winning cake artist who has created cakes for the Queen, King Charles and Prince Albert of Monaco. In 2010 he received the prestigious Disciples d’Escoffier award, and as lead tutor at CakeFlix he has won the Cake Masters Best Learning Experience award six times.
Despite the accolades, it’s his warmth, humour and passion for what he does that guests tend to remember most.
Kirkmichael is a charming Highland village tucked away in beautiful Perth and Kinross, right on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. Surrounded by rolling hills, woodland walks and quiet country roads, it’s the perfect spot if you’re looking to slow down and soak up some fresh Scottish air.
The village itself has a friendly, welcoming feel, with a local shop, café and traditional pub all within easy reach. It’s a great base for walking, cycling, fishing and exploring nearby glens, while still being within driving distance of Pitlochry, Blairgowrie and the wider Highlands.
