Accommodations in Hella

The place is beutiful, easy to find. I was pleasantly surprised by the room. It had small kitchinette, proper bathroom and cozy clean bad. Amazing value for the price!

Either a short stop on the road or a stay as starting point for excursions. A hidden gem. More family home than hotel, staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast beat everything else we experienced on the trip, great coffee (a decent plus!) and the dinner provided showed the excellent cooking skills. Go for the dessert as well! Hot tub available.

Room was clean had everything you need for staying. Staff was friendly. We liked breakfast although nothing special. We stayed one night no complains

Everything was great!! Unnur, the host, is super responsive and lovely. The guesthouse is spacious, beautiful and clean. The dining area is really large and has a beautiful view. There’s all sorts of things in the kitchen to help you cook, like oil and spices. And indeed Unnur and her husband cooked tasty pancakes for breakfast served with jam and maple syrup. Definitely recommend this place!!

Very quiet, good resting point in our itinerary.

Nice, clean rooms. Shared bathrooms were very clean too. Rooms were small, but we only were there to sleep, so it served the purpose. Breakfast was top of the line. Lots of variety. Staff was very friendly

Cleanness and enjoyed a beautiful view. Kitchenette is well equipped. It includes hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and nespresso machine. Also, olive oil, salt and pepper, etc.

Staff was excellent. Knowledgeable and accommodating. The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs.

Just wow. This house from the minute you walk in is just a stunner. We absolutely loved it and are mad at ourselves for not figuring out a way to use it as a base for more days during our travel in Iceland. Located just off the ring road, within walking distance of a grocery store, pool and disc golf, this place is a gem. It was our favorite stay of our trip, by far. The bathrooms, the bedrooms, the linens, the kitchen, all of it is 15/10 good. Book it now.

Perfect! The apartment is cozy, bright, and very spacious. It had all the amenities and items we could possibly need during our trip. Great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

There was a sauna!! You have to understand that this is very rustic and in a remote location. We loved it. There is even a school bus cafe right next to the cabins!

The cabin was an amazing find, one of the highlights of the trip! Highly recommended!!! Amazing location in a forest (there are not many forests in Iceland!), next to a river. The owners were so helpful and pleasant and their home is just mind-blowing. LOVED the external shower with hot water.
