The rooms are immaculately clean & decorated to a high standard with toiletries in the bathroom. Complimentary of tea, coffee & biscuits. Nice touch having a small fridge & hairdryer in the room.. In the main hallway, a small kitchen for guests to use, microwave, toaster, plates & cutlery, also iron, etc.
Well stocked corner shop across the road & Sainsbury's or Morrison's down the road a few minutes drive away.

Really enjoyed our stay, the flat was clean and very homely. We'll stay here again when we're back visting friends. I had a look at some of the reviews and honestly cant see why people would moan about the accomodation. Nick was also brilliant for getting in touch with and replying quickly.

I tour a lot by motorcycle and almost always on own. It means a lot to stay somewhere that people make an honest effort to look after you. It was a joy to visit this part of the world but that was eclipsed by the nature of my accommodation at The Olde Peculiar.An added bonus was the fact that it was pie night. I would change my route to go back there.

Lovely little cottage, very secluded - surrounded by trees.
Everything was as advertised & more.
Was conserned about having another holiday accommodation above us... But the layout ensures neither property over looks the other & no noise issues at all.
We had a problem with the toaster & tripped the fuses.. Kat replied to my message within 5mins & the issue was sorted 😊
The hot tub was amazing after a long trip.
Would definitely reconmend & will stay again if visiting that area.

This place is a little gem, the accommodation is spotless and so well equipped. The hosts are absolutely lovely, so welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Well located for all the local attractions. Everything about our stay was faultless, cannot recommend enough.

Easy to find. Nice welcome staff always very helpful and we had a brilliant breakfast and sleep too. Accommodation was very clean and looked very new, great stay will come again next July for the Arboretum pilgrimage

Staff were super friendly, location to Alton Towers is perfect, and the accommodation was great for the price of the room, which included a full English breakfast. Great place to stay if you want a local pub feel where you can get a drink in the bar, chat to the staff and then your head down in a comfy room/bed before a day in the theme park. Thanks, team. we will stay again.

Good location only a short walk to town center.
Close to the cathedral and has easy access to local parks,shops walks and places to eat.
Comfortable accomodation, with everything necessary for a short stay at reasonable cost.

The accommodation was the cleanest place I've ever stayed in. Recently renovated, it has been done very cleverly with a good eye for detail. The bedrooms were bright and airy. I also liked dedicated parking.
