Avalon Airport is situated 31 miles (50 kilometres) from central Melbourne, and is easily reached by public bus. The Avalon City Express links the airport to Melbourne, arriving and departing according to the arrival and departure times of scheduled flights. A one-way fare is AUD 22, with a journey time of around 50 minutes. Taxis cost roughly AUD 125 and take about 45 minutes.

The trip was good the place outside needed tidiing up the building inside was ok but the bathroom was terable the hot water wasn't right in the bathroom there are no keys for the bedroom's so if you lock the door behind yourself there is no way to get it open again there is no one on the property to contact if you had a emergency and no phone there's no tee or coffee supplied like most places give you and no TV connection at all working.

If you want to stay near Geelong area overnight and don't...

If you want to stay near Geelong area overnight and don't want to spend a lot of money, then this is the place to stay. There is a good shopping centre just up the road and it is easy to find the motel as it is right next to the highway. I think if you want to enjoy being in the room spend a little more and stay somewhere else. It was just a bit too ordinary for a getaway.

LOCATION OF THE HOUSE WAS GREAT. 5 MIN WALK TO GOLF CLUB WHICH HAD GREAT FOOD AND DRINKS AT GREAT PRICES. VIEW FROM HOUSE GOOD. LOOKING OVER THE SEA. GREAT AMENITIES. EASY DRIVE TO DRYSDALE TO CATCH THE Q TRAIN. COULD HAVE CAUGHT THE BUS.. A BIT HARD TO OPEN FRONT GATE. THIS COULD BE FIXED.. GREAT ACCOMMODATION

Heaps to do, enjoyed the shopping, carousel and helicopter...

Heaps to do, enjoyed the shopping, carousel and helicopter ride. Also chocolate factory near Torquay well worth visit. Joined the library while we were visiting and borrowed books. Plenty of great restaurants/cafes. Fish on the pier a bit pricey.

We like the more rooms in the property, and has a farm...

We like the more rooms in the property, and has a farm environment, we have enjoyed the countryside, and it has provided us with some milk, fruits and some drinks, and the property has included a Gym room, Billiards and table tennis, plus a lot of Games. When the weather was good, we have enjoyed outdoor activities, when the weather was poor, we have enjoyed indoor games. Thanks for the owner who were keen to keep us comfortable.

This venue is the only choice for anyone looking for a short getaway, a quiet weekend getaway or just an escape from the rat race. The Claribeaux restaurant is top-class, with something to satisfy the most discerning palate, and the staff are happy to accommodate any particular needs you might have.

Moolap is a quiet safe suburb of Geelong it is a 4 minute drive to Geelong CBD and the lovely waterfront. It is the gateway to the Bellarine Peninsula. Lovely beaches, wineries and cafes and shopping all with in 10 minutes of Moolap. Moolap is with in walking distance of all the major take aways McDonalds, KFC etc.... and two large shopping centers.

The aircon warmed the room quickly thank goodness as weather was wet and cold. We were not interested in the swimming pool. Adequate kitchenette to enable coffees, breakfast and easy dinner. Situated near a main road but still quiet. Rabbits and rosellas were lovely in the garden area.

We wanted somewhere quiet away from the city for an overnight stay. This was ideal, we arrived after lunch had a look around the train station, You Yangs Mountain range. Checked into B&B, relaxed. We booked into the Hotel next door for dinner, plenty of choices on menu, although there were lots of people in the bistro, it wasn't noisy and service was excellent. Back to B&B for great night's rest. Enjoyed a continental breakfast before heading off to Werribee Zoo.

Motel was right on the Princes Hwy, so traffic noise was...

Motel was right on the Princes Hwy, so traffic noise was evident at night. A lot of trucks entered and left the nearby Refinery, close to the back entrance to the motel. This is not the ideal location for a motel, set amongst a number of industrial sites.
