Links Lodge is situated at The Dunes Golf Links, one of Australia's top public golf courses. The lodging is located on the Mornington Peninsula, where several high quality public golf courses are located. I started playing golf at The Dunes in 2007 on my first trip to Australia and have regularly played there on many trips. The stylish rooms offer good space and have modern shower and plumbing fixtures. The nearby clubhouse offers a menu with good breakfast and lunch. Golf tee times can be reserved, unless the stay is booked at times when course is closed to public play, such as when large multiday tournaments are held. I've found it possible on most trips to the area to get tee times at The Dunes. I usually stay at a small cottage nearby but this time it was unavailable part of my stay. I would consider the Links Lodge at The Dunes for another stay on future visits. There are in room safes offer an extra layer of security for those concerned about safeguarding travel documents. The lodging is fairly new and opened in the last few years. It is separated from the main clubhouse by a short distance and each unit has parking which is separate from common parking areas. My room was a two minute walk to the restaurant and clubhouse.

Felix and Susan went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. It was very much appreciated! From the beginning, communication was excellent with super-easy instructions to follow. The place is large, beautifully decorated and it's like a home away from home, exactly like the pictures. Ideal location tucked away too. I would highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

Absolutely impeccable cleanness. The property is spacious with everything necessary to be comfortable. Great location - 15 minutes in any direction will get you wherever you need to go on the Peninsula. Deb was a friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended. We’ll be back!

This B&B is beatiful. Margaret was very attentive since we made the booking. She called to let us know where could we find our keys the following day. The rooms are very spacious and self-contained. They are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The gardens are exquisite, but the main thing we loved was the breakfast, it was delicious, and big! Also, as a plus, the location is excellent. Only 5 min from the hot springs, beach, restaurants, fresh seafood outlets. 100% recommend! (There is also a super cute border collie that joins during breafast time).

Rye was a great area to stay.

Rye was a great area to stay. It was budget friendly compared to other places further on. The foreshore had excellent toilets and park, playground and parking facilities. Rye had the best fish and chips we tasted anywhere in our travels which we enjoyed in the park overlooking the beach which is a safe place to swim as well. Rye was also convenient for our stopover to explore the region and attractions such as Arthurs Seat with it's wonderful views near Mt Martha, The Peninsular Hot Springs which we enjoyed immensely and Cape Schanck with it's dramatic cliffs, wild beaches and walking tracks plus lighthouse which we explored.

Rye is a typical beach stretch community.

Rye is a typical beach stretch community. There are many along this part of the coast. The range of restaurants, food shops and supermarkets etc is very good. It is very well located to visit the whole Mornington area. 15 minutes from the Hot Springs spa which is awesome, and the Sorento Ferry trip is a must.

Rye has a very good supermarket, together with various restaurants and cafes. It is close to the elegant town of Sorrento and nearby Portsea (excellent coffee shop), but we most enjoyed the nearby ocean side of St Andrew's Beach and Cape Schanck, where breaking waves have sculpted the cliffs into extraordinary shapes.

easy drive plenty of shops and food options parking behind shops and free parking for 2 hours which was good .The hotel had windows opening onto the street so you could see everyone walking past felt a bit like being on the Gold Coast and beer and bar snacks were wxcellent

Loved the home we were in.

Loved the home we were in. It was in between Rye and Sorrento. Wouldn’t visit town of Rye, but Sorrento was lovely. Sorrento had some lovely restaurants, but a couple were not organised for the summer season, and we had a few overbooked issues. Great places of interest just short drives away.

Our stay in Rye was wonderful.

Our stay in Rye was wonderful. Home is beautiful & extremely comfortable. Great location to visit wineries, Mornington & Sorrento. Walking distance to the beach. This was our second time staying at Capel Sound, it was a fantastic short break away.

The location is great which is near Rye Beach, local restaurants and attractions. The place is spacious with the lower level for an extra bedroom. The living room is situated downstairs. Good value for money. The place is functional and serves the purpose for its value. It could have been way better if there is a stairs inside the lower level to get direct access to upstairs but not a big deal.

The natural beauty of the area was blissful. I loved that you provided mugs and cups for tea (both) and coffee. This is so much nicer than the normal small, miserable cups provided in other hotels.
