Clean modern well resourced beach house. Host provided some biscuits and chocolate, and there was also complimentay cooking supplies, which we diddn't use. Leonie was very responsive.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is superb and very convenient, with the nearby beach, cafés, restaurants, and grocery stores all within easy reach. The house itself is lovely, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The backyard was great for our children and although a few play equipment items were broken and need attention but our kids still had a lovely time. Two of the rooms were a little compact, so we ended up unloading our luggage in the master bedroom but the beds were comfortable and we enjoyed a good night’s sleep. The kitchen was well-equipped and clear instructions were provided. The only small issue was that the coffee machine wasn’t working which would have made mornings in the backyard with a coffee even more enjoyable, especially on a rainy day. Overall, we had a fantastic time and enjoyed every moment of our stay. We would love to come back again!

The weather was not great so we didn’t get out as much as we would have liked. However the house was so comfortable that we were happy to stay indoors until the rain stopped. Recommend Charlie’s Car Museum and Ashcombe Gardens and Maze.

Even with the main beach under renovation, Rosebud was a delight! I enjoyed a peaceful stroll by the camping grounds and had a fantastic pasta marinara at Unica Cucina E Caffe—so fresh and tasty. With limited options on Tuesday, classic Fish N Chips from Capel Sound hit the spot. Shops like Woolies and Dan Murphy’s were super handy, and Peninsula Beach Motel was the perfect base for exploring The Alba Thermal Springs, parks, and local wineries.

The beach is why I went to rosebud everything else can be found anywhere. The weather was lovely. Shoes off and ready for grounding. There’s nothing like being in the water it does the world of good.

While staying at Rosebud it's within reasonable distance to many interesting places. Nothing is more than an 30 minute drive. Sorrento is really nice with good shopping and eating options and of course the beach. Red Hill is good with it's choices of wineries to experience. We really enjoyed The Green Olive winery, beautiful grounds and family friendly. We ate at the Rosebud Hotel, always good value and plenty to chose from. Another night we went to Nora's restaurant in Rye. Only a short drive and the pasta was amazing.

Spa has been removed but signage still left on back door, disappointing. *Positives are nice new modern bathrooms,lots of utensils,/crockery etc,comfortable beds. Negatives- Too pricey for what we got,it was in the middle of Suburbia which a car was needed to go to shops. No welcome pack or milk for a cuppa on arrival. All Toilet roll holders not added. No insulation very noisy upstairs for bottom bedroom sleepers. Outdoor setting old tarnished & torn seats. Buffet cabinet no drawer handles,found in top dry but won’t stay in holes. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Absolutely nothing against the Motel admin staff but...

Absolutely nothing against the Motel admin staff but security is a big thing in accomodation nowadays. We experienced no one available on site OR contactable by phone in any way or form. The whole scenario was frightening.

Comfortable and cosy, family friendly house in a nice quiet street and close to the beach and shops. We loved that the house had so much natural light so that it never felt gloomy even though the weather during our stay wasn't great. Short stroll to the Rosebud Hotel. Provided a great base from which to explore the Peninsula. Our dog loved the safely fenced backyard.

Erica is a very good host, attentive and easy to communicate with. Sunset Over Sea Little Beachside Villa was super clean with a lovely retro, beachy decor/ vibe. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Rosebud. The location was convenient, with easy access to shops and beautiful beaches, and a short drive to Peninsular Hot Springs.
