An amazing stay!
An amazing stay! The house was spacious and perfect for our group of four families. There was plenty to keep the kids entertained, with lots of activities and pool/spa. The interior was modern and beautifully furnished, making it feel both comfortable and stylish. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a family-friendly, well-thought-out space, especially for multiple families!

Tullimbar was a great a great launching place for me to do travels and exploring in the region. Buses, trains available and if travellers have a car it is even better. Cafes and food outlets nearby and great recommendations by hosts of what to see, do and where can eat. The hinterland - Robertson, Illawarra Fly, Bowral - all worth the time to explore. Train trip from Oaks Flats to Kiama then the diesel to Bombaderry or up the coast are both amazing. Sit relax and enjoy.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Lake Illawarra Homestay for two nights. From the moment I arrived, I felt relaxed and welcomed. What I loved most was the beautiful surroundings, which made it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a break from everyday life.
The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, making me feel right at home. I especially enjoyed spending time by the lake, taking in the stunning views, and appreciating the tranquility of the area. The hosts were friendly, accommodating, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my stay.
Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable and memorable getaways I've had in a long time. I honestly cannot think of anything I disliked. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I would happily recommend Lake Illawarra Homestay to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable escape.

We would definitely stay again. Lived in the area years ago.
Swimming, surfing, boating, fishing, beautiful walks, shopping. Shame Wollongong Council never replaced the kids playground.Loved the fact that I was provided with an outdoor barbecue. There’s something for everyone!

Beautiful town the scenery is lovely. We were there for a Wedding which was perfect at Greyleigh Jerrara.
Had dinner one night at the Jamberoo Bowling Club and the food and service was very good.
Close to drive to Kiama and Berry.

Minnamurra,is a slow paced unspoilt little gem,where you can enjoy the lovely river and beach. Nature abounds,lots of water birds on the river and a great place to swim,fish or kayak or paddle board.The only downside is the lack of local shops within walking distance.There is a great cafe though.
