It was our first time in Tauranaga and we are glad we did...
It was our first time in Tauranaga and we are glad we did this trip.
I had the privilege of having a round of Golf at the 'Mount Mauganui Golf Course' It was a delight to share the opportunity with a couple of local players, who became great friends by the rend of the round.
For the wife's interest in Shopping, we spent time at the 'Bayfair Shopping Centre' and the 'Tauranga Crossing Shopping Centre'.
We also had a lovely morning at the Beachfront - of Tauranga Downtown City Centre, with a little market with a good range of goods.

The sleep out Italian Oasis was definitely worth a try out for somewhere different.The solar fairy lights were amazing makes the places so cozy but it was a winter night for us.
It was unique, comfortable bed with quality selected linens to make our stay home away from home.
Well thought out little deco pieces & books n magazines and room spray was how we knew Julie went out of her way to make someone’s stay to remember.

The separations between bathroom n toilet from the sleep out makes it tricky for us going in & out during the winter freezing cold nights 🥶 . Ideal for summertime.

Papamoa is a great beach, safe swimming with a life saving...
Papamoa is a great beach, safe swimming with a life saving club close by and the area is full of great shops and eaterys it is close driving distance to Bayfair shopping centre and Mt Maunganui. An easy commute to the Te Puke town ship and the Papamoa hills walk, and also an easy drive to Tauranga. Papamoa is out of the city rat race, so peaceful, although we went in the winter, summer can be busy. It is also an easy 50-60min drive to Rotorua.

The accommodation was very beautifully kitted out with the most amazing comfy bed and lovely linen. Everything was spotless and the facilities were perfect. The location is peaceful and private with friendly hosts.

Quiet oceanfront town.
Quiet oceanfront town. Close to larger city (with use of car). Good choice of places to eat, decent choice of groceries. Very nice walks along beach. Definitely try out the local Indian restaurant. (Spice Delight). Good/free hiking trails and gardens nearby.

A very comfortable neat and tidy home ideally located with a bunch of treasured friends.
Well stocked kitchen in terms of utensils and crockery. Very user friendly.
Thanks to Jessica for the bottle of milk in the fridge which was so handy.
The location was at a very close distance to a new place of worship 'Lakshmi Narasimhan Temple' on Chadwick Road which was an added advantage to us . The Mithai shop next to the temple is a bonus.
We drove to the Main Beach and the well paved sea shore for a morning walk A lovely meal at our always favorite 'Easy go Thai' and another at Sugo was awesome. Don't ever miss the Cauliflower pizza at Sugo.

Beautiful place with the convenience of town not too far...
Beautiful place with the convenience of town not too far away but far enough not to miss it or need anything. There is a market on Saturdays highly recommend crafts,food,clothing stalls all 10/10 peace for pots exceptional work. Friendly warm people. You can see it from the main road lots of parking best market I have ever been too

Absolutely amazing . All our expectations were met . Amazing staff and amazing amenities. Child and pet friendly is a major bonus and I’m so happy we chose to come here . We will be returning with the whole family next time soon

We were invited to a function at the Boat Club.
We were invited to a function at the Boat Club. It was in an amazing site and held over 100 people easily If the weather had not rained all the time there are some fabulous coastal walks we'd had loved to do. Coffee upstairs by central parking area is very good

Tauranga CBD has been Ruined by excessive building of too...
Tauranga CBD has been Ruined by excessive building of too high and bulky commercial office spaces, not people friendly at all! The roading muck up sees no parking outside many businesses too.
Not a lot to do there either.
