Lizel and her husband are such kind hosts! from the first second we arrived they had us feel like we were home - away from home. Stunned by how beautiful the place is and all the details that have been put into it. everything feels, looks and smells brand new and well looked after. offers everything one could ask for, grocery stores just around the corner and delicious restaurants in town.
Would love to come back!

Staying here truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, the Robertson Manor offered the perfect escape — a place to completely switch off and forget about the outside world.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, with crisp, fresh sheets that made for restful nights. Each day we were treated to delicious homemade meals, paired with lovely conversation that made the experience even more special.
We left feeling genuinely relaxed and refreshed, and we will absolutely return to the manor for another stay. An unforgettable and restorative experience.

There is lots to do in Robertson - Platform 62 in Ashton has great wine tasting and shopping, there are lots of art galleries and plenty of excellent restaurants. The steam train experience is amazing. We love going to the cactus nursery, the spa at the Small Hotel, and Owl's rest for lavender and olive products. There are many malls for the essentials and interesting wine farms around. Just a hop skip and a jump away from interesting things to do in McGregor too. But be warned - Sundays and public holidays are limited as many places are closed.

A quiet town between Robertson and Montagu, surrounded by vinyards and orchards. Shopping and dining within 10 to 20 minutes of scenic driving. Montagu had a lovely, intimate market, selling home made jams, preserves, cakes, clothing and some brick a brac. Robertson had live music and delicious meals at Bourbon Street restaurant, on the main road. Beautiful historic buildings and wine farms close by. Don't forget to by wine!

We stayed in the log cabins: functional and clean, well appointed but rustic. Four hour drive from Cape Town. Quiet and peaceful. Spectacular night skies, awesome vistas. Ideal if you want to sit and relax in a karoo landscape, but remember your paint-box and novel, and a fan (in summer): they've got games to borrow, and ice, cool drinks and fatty lamb chops to buy. Sweet...

The 4x2 trail was perfect to test out my repaired Pajero's rear diff. The accommodation was comfortable and perfect for families to entertain each other with board games. The balcony provides a perfect setting to sit outside on camp chairs while dad is tending to the braai.

We found that the people in the town were extremely helpful and friendly and would go out of their way for you, making your visit very pleasant.
We had delicious food at Jimmy's and Tebaldi's.We tasted the scrumptious monster burgers from the food truck that comes every Tuesday and Thusday.
I even had a back massage offered by Charmaine who runs a shop with pamper treatments.
