I truly loved everything about this stay. The apartment is stunning, tastefully decorated and filled with light and breeze with lovely views of the palm trees from the terrace. In the mornings, watching monkeys and peacocks from the terrace was pure magic. The location is quiet but just a short walk from a local shop. I stayed in the upstairs room. It is brand new and super comfortable. Very clean. You get a big comfortable queen bed, a big bathroom with hot water, great WiFi, a small patio, and a perfect small kitchen. The family is absolutely amazing. They made me feel very welcome and l loved spending lots of time with them. Their three children greeted me with a smile and tea every morning. The children and I played cricket, football, biked, and laughed everyday with each other. I ate food with them and the mother is a great cook. If you want some really good Sri Lankan food, ask her for dinner. I ended up staying more than 2 weeks because the family and the private room were so great. It is about a 5 minute drive from the town and beach area, so I rented a scooter from them.

I spent my vacation at Serendib Villa, and it was a wonderful experience. The bedroom was very spacious with a big and comfortable bed. There are two balconies and a private bathroom with hot water, which made the stay even more comfortable. The house is very beautiful and cozy. There is also an outdoor kitchen equipped with everything you need, including a kettle, gas cooker, and other essentials. If you need, you can also rent a bike from them — they provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. The villa is located in a very calm and peaceful area with lots of birds around. It is very close to the beach — only about five minutes away. The place is also very near to Ahangama and Koggala, which are very beautiful areas to visit. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. She even gave me milk rice, which was super delicious! They helped me a lot during my stay and made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

This was by far the most pleasant and special place I stayed at in Sri Lanka. A beautiful, comfortable, and fully equipped villa, hosted by the most amazing family you could wish for. Shanika, the owner, is incredibly kind, caring, and helpful, and her children are the sweetest. From the first moment, it truly felt like home. The location is perfect — close to everything, yet quiet, private, surrounded by nature and greenery. The garden is lovely and peaceful, and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The room had everything I needed and more — a fridge, washing machine, and all the comforts that make a long stay easy and enjoyable. Shanika was always there to help with anything, big or small, with genuine warmth and generosity. Honestly, this is the place where I felt the most comfortable during my entire stay. I could have stayed there forever, and I hope to come back one day. Highly, highly recommended.

Our stay at Happy Stay Villa was absolutely fantastic. As a family of four, including two kids, we couldn’t have wished for a more family-friendly place. The property was very clean and well-kept, with a spacious apartment that provided plenty of room for everyone. The downstairs garden and balcony were perfect for relaxing after a day at the Kabalana beach. The host was exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast, which was provided upon request.

Really enjoyed our stay at Sun and Sand Apartment, it’s super spacious, has a little kitchen and fridge and a big balcony. The location is wonderful, just keep in mind the first train arrives at 05:17 in the morning, but it didn’t bother us and you’ll get used to it very quickly.

Stayed for 2 nights and loved the apartment. Friendly and helpful owners with the cutest dog. Good location, lovely quiet outside area, very comfortable bed and good standard in general -one of the best places I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka, have already booked to come back :)
