We actually stayed at Hotel Blue Sapphire for six nights. The lobby and our room were beautiful, the staff very welcoming and provided above and beyond what could be expected. We loved their restaurant.

Everything is good at the Slipway. I have been staying there over the past 20 years and things have just been improving year by year. Many restaurant option, super view, the pool was added few years back and it's a must...

It’s still very new which is why the stay was amazing. Everything is still intact rooms are super clean with perfect lighting.

An oasis in Dar. We had to find a place to stay near the clinic where our father was being treated for pneumonia. We we so fortunate to stumble on this gem of a hotel. Subi, Maggie, Steve and everybody there helped us through a difficult time. The rooms are beautifully appointed and spotless, the decor is stunning and the food is just fantastic! Steve cooked us a breakfast each day to take to our father which was so kind. This is a really special place from which to explore Dar.

I come to this homestay often. It is a very comfortable place for me. It's in a great location, close to a shopping mall, restaurants shops and ATMs, yet on a quiet street away from the noise. The owner of the home is very very kind and she can take care of all your needs, especially when navigating the city. The house and the rooms are kept very clean, including the bathroom and kitchen, which you have free access to. Overall, this is one of the best homestays in Dar, especially for the price. I highly recommend it.

l loved the view from the balcony,l got to see the swimming pool and the beautiful sky from the balcony. The room was clean, with an AC,mastebed and a good dressing table. The kitchen was well equipped and the sitting room was well furnitured . The security made one feel safe and comfortable.Loved the style of the place,it definitely met it's expectations.

The staff is exceptionally friendly. We arrived sick and they cared about us lovely. Everything is organized and reliable. Price - value is perfect. The beach is clean and it is not as noisy as everywhere else in Dar. So far the best accomodation in Dar for me.

I can't recommend this place enough. I stayed 10 nights, was looking for something comfortable and good quality price and this place exceed all my expectations. You won't find ultra luxury here, but it's a very cozy and welcoming home with everything you need. Definitely worth paying the little extra and get the room upgrade if you're staying for some time. The room is huge, with beautiful traditional wood furniture, a comfortable bed, lots of pillows, a wardrobe, and desk. A lot of light and super clean. Bathroom has hot water and good pressure shower and is cleaned every day. The breakfast is delicious with fresh fruits and pressed juice. The bar downstairs is lively with good live music and pool tables. The hotel stays in the perfect location to access a lot of attraction points, 15min from city center, 5min from coco Beach, close to a lot of bars and restaurants. You also have all services walking distance (ATM, multiple restaurants, several bars, many pharmacies, supermarkets, souvenir shops, etc). The location is safe and Q-bar staff makes sure you are always helped when you need, they inclusively escorted me to the supermarket the first day I arrived, and opened the kitchen to give me rice at 2am when my phone got water. From a person that did A LOT of research and likes a good value for money, I REALLY recommend you choose this place. I had my best stay in Dar and will definitely come back!

Nice place: an ocean - just catch a high tide, swimming pool, kid's area. Green and quiet environment. Tasty food and comfortable rooms with good wi-fi
