Best pub I have stayed in for years! Rooms situated in adjacent cottage so very quiet. Rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable. Pub served good beer and food in clean and friendly surrounds. Food was of a high standard with a great breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The location of the property is great with pubs, restaurants and a shop within walking distance. The rooms were clean, comfortable and warm with good amenities for making tea, coffee and light snacks ( microwave)

Warm friendly layout . Welcome email with clear instructions. Beautiful room . Layout is functional yet elegant . A very comfortable bed like sleeping in between clouds and great sleep as it's quiet during the night . Lots of lovely extras like a coffee machine in the room for good quality coffee. Lovely meal at the pub next door . Would stay again.

I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The room was well presented, it was immaculate with great facilities. It had everything I need and was a very good size. The location was wonderful and I would absolutely book again!

Great location for sightseeing, walking and easy access to a pub with excellent music. Every staff member was so friendly and helpful.

We had two single beds and they were very comfortable. The tea and coffee facilities were excellent. The gentleman, who I presume was the owner, was extremely helpful. Especially with parking

Great host very accommodating

Room was spotless, comfortable and quiet. Host friendly and helpful, whilst not being intrusive. Excellent location close to Hoe and city centre. Free parking on site big bonus as local charges high.
