Our stay at Castle View was a wonderful experience. Dave and Carmen’s recent renovations were top drawer - from a cute and functional mini kitchen to an excellent bathroom. Our shower was perfect with more than ample water pressure and precise temperature control. The room was absolutely immaculate. The bed was big and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, made to order, with both hot and cold offerings. It is apparent that Dave and Carmen knew what they were doing when creating a warm and welcoming B&B. If we return to Morpeth, you will find us at the Castle View.

The property needs updating however, the cleanliness and the landlady was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble at all. We would stay there again.

Waterford Lodge Hotel is a refurbished 18th-century coaching inn located on the River Wansbeck, close to the center of Morpeth, and with good transport links to Newcastle.

The place is clean 😄 and the staff were lovely will definitely return, the location was brilliant just a couple of mins walk from town and there was a private car park.
