The staff was amazing! I dropped a very important necklace straight down the sink drain, the maintenance man was off, and the gal at the front desk and the housekeeper both came and took apart the sink to retrieve it for me.

The staff were very friendly and made me and my family feel very welcome. The women at the desk even said we'd could use the showers after we had already checked out of our room when I finished the Great North Run.

Very cozy and clean hotel. It always smells good, it's very well maintained and the owner makes sure everything is in perfect condition. The staff is friendly and ready to help. The rooms have a tv with many channels to choose from some rooms have private bathrooms and some have shared, but there is a sink in the room as well for convenience. various sizes of rooms to choose from. The beds are comfy, warm bedding, and the heating works perfectly. There is a kitchen with plates, utensils, and glasses/mugs available. There is a microwave, toaster and water kettle available for use. The kitchen area has a dining table with 4 chairs, and there is a small but very tasteful living room, with the most comfortable couches and a big flat screen tv, with many channels. Reception is available all day till late evening. The cleaning personnel is amazing and always ready to help if anything is needed, like towels or trash bags etc. Towels and shower gel are provided. The location is great, 40 min walk from the main rail station and city center. Right in the heart if the most ethnic neighborhood in Arthur's Hill/Westgate. Tons of ethnic grocery stores and restaurants within minutes of walk, as well as Asda and Iceland. Bus stop is trght in front of the hotel. Close proximity to the Tyne river and severel parks, as well as to Quayside, Ouseburn and easy access to the wonderful Metrocentre. I highly recommend this place and will definitely book this hotel again in the future, because I know that I will have a pleasant experience. Thank you to the staff for providing a pleasant experience.

Shower was hot , only issue is usual in hotels of black mould in overflow and end of tap, it was warm one could open windows, curtains cut out light one let's oneself in no staff it's a bit daunting but good idea. Tons of toilet paper tea coffee, it's near Waitrose and Tescos and in opposite way the Dene there is public trans port plenty of pizza shops a Chinese and pubs. Radiator and most is very very clean warm duvet and enough pillows . Gentleman switched lights on again. TV, two choices of shower head, antibacterial hand soap was lovely idea. Plenty of hot water love nothing better than good wash scrub up on my travels do hot water was good. Carpet is thick, bed good for me

Fantastic! Second time I've stayed here for con and i don't have any complaints either time. Clean and plenty storage, fridge was super handy too. The owner is super sweet and even helped me with my bag to my room. 100% my main con stay 😊

The host Andrew is super responsible and friendly! He is always trying to provide me with what I need. Also, the room is very cozy to stay.

Amazing room and garden. Complete toiletries and kitchenwares. They even provide outdoor and indoor slippers. Place is clean. Lovely place to stay.
