Pretty well everything was excellent. Rooms were spacious, food very good and staff so friendly. It is one of the few places we have stayed in recent times that provided a non-slip mat for the shower alcove - most are downright dangerous but this was really good in that regard. Set in open and pretty Yorkshire countryside, the place has obviously been improved progressively in recent times. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at the newly renovated Milestone. Room was lovely, food was delicious and the staff were exceptional. Would recommend! Will happily visit again!

From start to finish our hosts couldn’t do enough for us. After showing us to our beautiful room and explaining how to get inside should we be late returning from our evening celebration they checked we were having breakfast the following morning and booked a taxi to collect us that evening. We had a lovely chat with them and heard about what they had done since taking over the property a year ago. It felt so comfortable and friendly, having a couple of drinks in the bar with the locals, prior to going out. Breakfast was ample and beautifully cooked. And to cap it all………when we arrived home I realised we had forgotten to empty a couple of drawers. John the owner kindly arranged for the items to be sent on to us . We will definitely be returning. Thank you Rushcart Inn for a lovely stay.

We loved the rustic effect with the exposed beams and the little touches like the chilled out music as we walked in and the hot drink making facilities. The bed was comfortable and the walk in shower was great too.

More than world class hospitality, it was like family. We arrived very early in the morning after an overnight flight and were greeted with a warm smile and a key to our room which had been upgraded. That was quickly followed up with a lovely breakfast and beer. The grounds and view was so beautiful. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We slept with the window open and there was zero noise from the street... so peaceful. I will absolutely stay here for future visits to this area.

I liked the location and the bed was comfortable.

Nothing. It was dirty and smelt of cigarettes.I had to contact them a couple of times to get the entry code ! It was so bad we decided to book somewhere else

Very nice, clean, and everything you need. Walked everywhere. I would call it cosy, but it was quite spacious.
