Perfect I love the interior, the spacious room, the design and everything. The location really in the middle of the crowded. Close to the famous temple and 1 minute to Yasaka pagoda My family love the room a looot, we can lying down all the day and forget to explore around, very comfortable.

I travel a lot and hqve been to serevel places, but here I found most gentle and helpful host I ever met. Location was beyond perfection, a few steps from the Pagoda street everyone want to take a picture at.

Near the tourist spot and worth the money.

This was my second time visiting Engawa, and Mr. Li and his family were just as wonderful as before. They gave us a warm welcome and were very kind to let us check in late. Mr. Li shared his beautiful photography, took us on a night tour, and even drove us to the hot spring. He is very knowledgeable about Kyoto and shared us excellent travel recommendations. The room is cozy and clean. Highly recommend this place ☺️

My view was great and the window opens all the way. It felt new and clean. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful!

Beautiful and traditional. Fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer too. Quiet and very walkable to famous shrine as well as some restaurants.

We loved our stay here - everything was clean, comfortable beds including the sofa bed in the tatami area. The free breakfast was a bonus before we headed out for the day. The staff were welcoming and helpful especially when we used luggage transfer service. Great location, close to the bus and walking distance to ninenzaka and kiyomizu-dera temple. Our first day here it rained and they had umbrellas we could borrow which was great as we had not brought our own. Highly recommend a stay here!

Hosts are wonderful! We enjoyed our conversation with them. Our room was clean and cozy with a.little private garden outside our room. Absolutely loved the location with easy walk to shopping, restaurants and shrines. Subway is right around the corner. Guesthouse had everything we needed and we would certainly return. I have already recommended the inn to friends.
