We enjoyed our stay at Nile Palace very much! First of all, Bisho and his family were incredibly kind and welcoming (Bisho speaks Arabic, English, and German). You can truly tell they are good people whose highest priority is making their guests feel at home :) Everyone we encountered at the accommodation was friendly and helpful :) Our room was spotlessly clean, and the terrace offers a stunning view. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Mango is very clean and tidy. The owner and staff are very nice and full of humanistic care.

Everything was fantastic. The food, the service, the short day trips, the view, the peaceful surroundings. Pedro was also a fabulous guide/host, very responsive and helpful. We could have stayed there 3 days. It is such a wonderful place.

Peaceful and quiet. The rooms have all the basic necessities and is very clean. The staffs were very nice and the food was great! Kafana helped us arrange a private transport to Abu Simbel at a reasonable price, gave complimentary rides to their motor boat and even checked in on us to make sure we made it safely to our destination. Great hospitality at great value!

Very welcoming hosts, clean and comfortable room, and a peaceful location in the Nubian Village. The breakfast was fresh and really good each morning.

Aswan people are hospitable, humble and generous and the host is no different. We went to the other side by ferry with my son to bring some medicine, he paid for our tickets.

Everything was perfect, the location just a minute away the public ferry, the incredible terrace with breathtaking view over the Nile, spotless clean big room, etc. There was even a sandstorm the night before and when we arrived you couldn't see a grain of sand. Best of all is Mohammed, the owner, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had all we need. He arrange for someone to come and pick up my heavy suitcase as I was traveling alone with children, organized a really nice captain to visit the Nubian village, etc. Would come back in a heartbeat.

What I liked about Awi Guest House was the personal touch and warm hospitality. The owner, Awi, went out of his way to make sure we felt comfortable and welcome—he even came to pick us up by boat, which was such a unique and special touch. Awi is not only friendly but genuinely cares about his guests, always checking in to ensure everything was perfect. The village was beautiful and fun to explore, with friendly locals who made us feel very welcome. Awi’s service was top-notch, and the breakfast he served each morning was delicious and fulfilling. It was a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, and I really enjoyed the overall experience. Awi truly made our stay memorable with his kindness and hospitality. The sunrise and sunset across the Nile River were absolutely stunning, adding a magical touch to the entire experience at Awi Guest House.

We absolutely loved the peaceful and quiet location and the gorgeous view especially on the rooftop terrace. Breakfast or shay on the terrace was incredible. The service was warm and hospitable. We got answers to all our tourism questions and appreciated the assistance to arrange our early morning airport transfer.

Highly recommend to stay here! Mustafa is a super nice, polite, well-educated and hospitable host, plus he organized us a tour to Abu Simbel. A clean room and bathroom, good price for such comfort. Thank you!

The Basmatic Nubian house offers a UNIQUE experience in Aswan. While the actual Aswan city has a very similar lifestyle to El Cairo, the Elephantine island offers a relaxed, Nubian atmosphere with outstanding sunsets. The staff at the house, specially Mahmoud, were very easy-going, cultured and incredibly welcoming. Staying at the Elephantine island is a must in Aswan!

The family running it was extremely polite and helpful And went above and beyond the measures of a great stay Right in the center of town within walking distance of all the market booths Very close to the water Not on the water, but has water view. The balconies were very nice. Enjoyed the typical Nubian breakfast Extremely colorful

We had a great stay at Anakato Nubian Experience! All the staff was so kind and helpful. Everything was clean and cozy! We also liked the private access to the beach with lounging chairs. We were also eating lunch and dinner here and it was delicious! The views are amazing. We highly recommend you to stay here! They also helped us booking tours to the Philae Temple and feluca sunset cruise.

Loved the vibe of the property and the look of hotel. The staff was AMAZING very friendly, helpful in every way. Food was the best food I’ve had in Egypt. We didn’t end up eating anywhere else because the food was so good. The view of the Nile was beautiful.

I like the location and the cleanliness of the place. The neighborhood is very calm and relaxing. I had a very good breakfast everyday during my stay. I liked the staff very much specially Abdullah Yahia who was very helpful and supportive.

Location is great, boat is accessible just few steps away, supermarket is next door, host is very helpful, kids likes cats roaming around.

Baba Dool is perfectly located on the bank of the Nile with amazing views of the west bank. Whatever room you have you will have an amazing view! The staff are friendly and helpful and arrange affordable trips to the sights. Would definetley stay again.

Ali is the best, room is very clean. An amazing terrace a perfectly view. Good food and good beer and a good cat named Lisa very friendly. I can't wait to come back

We loved the quiet tempo of life, no request was too big or too small and they really tried to accommodate us. There were lovely boat transfers to/from Aswan town! The rooms were very comfortable with a nice a/c! Other reviews said there were no towels, but we had towels, so that wasn’t an issue for us! It was our favorite place we stayed in Egypt. You can hike the Sahara sand dune behind the chalet at sunrise and see a stunning view over the Nile. They also sorted out a fellouca ride for us which was so lovely and definitely a highlight!! It’s not a 5-star hotel, so be ready for a little rustic living with some quirks, but the friendliness of the staff and the quiet from the town was absolutely worth it!
