Loved the cabin and the hot tub.. wish we could’ve stayed longer!! Hosts were so helpful

What a truly special place to stay! We were looking for somewhere unique and memorable for our mini honeymoon after getting married, and this place absolutely delivered. Everything was spotless, the bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, and the freestanding bath was a lovely touch. We spent a fun evening playing pool in the bar area, and although we didn’t use the hot tub—it looked easy to operate—it was a bit too chilly outside for us! Suzy and Neil were fantastic hosts, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. We only felt guilty that we couldn’t finish it all because there was so much! Overall, we couldn’t have been happier. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a little slice of luxury.

A home away from home. Home has everything you need! Easily accessible!

Excellent location, we did everything by foot. Supermarket, restaurants, everything was close by, so that was great. The house itself had everything we needed and was really clean. The tv even had Netflix, which was a very nice surprise.

Everything 👍 fab location, friendly & helpful hosts, spotlessly clean & felt like home, our 2nd visit & we will be returning.

Relaxed and spacious on a farm property

Easy to find and plenty of parking. The host welcomed me and showed me to my room. Lovely large back garden where all you could hear were birds. Breakfast was simply delicious and served in their lovely dining room. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. If I go on another cruise from Southampton, I would definitely stay here again.

We adore Weir Cottage. This is our second visit for a relaxing weekend away and it's hard not to be charmed by the cottage and it's stunning garden. Shane, the host, has thought of absolutely everything (and I do mean everything!) you could want or need during your stay. It has a real homely feeling that makes you instantly relax. From a bottle of prosecco and a loaf of fresh bread on arrival, to the cottages garden, ponds and weir, right down to the super comfy beds for a great night's sleep this is a perfect retreat whilst visiting all the local area has to offer. We didn't want to leave and will definitely return again.

From the moment we arrived at the property everything was perfect, the hosts where amazing and the personal touches that they provided for us where above and beyond our expectations. I would certainly recommend this to anyone, we booked the property again on the evening of our second night’s stay!
