Cheap hotels in Penzance

Location near the train station as we had traveled from Montana, USA and then directly from Heathrow Airport via train to Penzance. The staff was welcoming to us and the pub had a fantastic Sunday roast that evening.

The property is very stylish and at high quality. Loved the room and the bathroom.

Craig was a wonderful host. He could not do anything more for us. The entire experience was perfect.

We had a very nice and cozy stay at this charming, traditional inn. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, the beds were very comfortable, and the spacious, modern bathroom was a great bonus.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Was in a "Super King" - this room has a desk and a chair by the window with a sea view. The bed was comfortable, with modern bathroom facilities, the room itself was clean and in pleasant shades of blue. The full English breakfast was fantastic, the dining room was cute and cozy. The host was beyond lovely! Thank you.

The location was perfect, close to the train and bus station. The house its self was comfortable and had all the comforts of home. It was clean and we loved the welcome gift. It was a lovely touch and we were in need of a good cup of tea. We come to Penzance each year around this time and this is the perfect place to stay. We would definitely book again to stay here.

It's really lovely and so close to the station and the high street. Incredibly easy to walk essentially anywhere you need to go. There were some great recommendations left for places to visit and where to eat or get a coffee, which was super helpful.

Close walk to the train station. It was a comfortable space to make home for a few days

Close to rail/bus station. Comfortable bed. No street noise. Good shower. Good cooking facilities. Fridge with freezer compartment. Great heating/fan options.

Staff were awesome. Chris held the room despite my NZ bank blocking my card (even though they were notified I was overseas). Clean and lovely place to stay.

Staff were exceptional! We are unfamiliar with the differences of holiday caravan stays vs. hotel stays, but the manager assisted us well!

The Swordfish Inn has a really great staff: Kim, Izzy, Nick, Jack and Jake were all really helpful. There were daily breakfasts downstairs, and we were able to hang out downstairs in the evening in the very convivial environment with the pub. The location was really excellent—near the busy fishing port and trails heading toward Mousehole as well as being very close to the Penzance waterfront.

Hosts were fantastic. Kind, caring, helpful, available. Terrific.

Comfortable king bed, wonderful hosts who also have an interesting working art studio. Very clean and very safe. Hosts great communicators.

Hosts were very communicative and friendly, kept informed about trip and expectations, breakfasts were wonderful, with more options than you could try. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and if back in Penzance will look to book again.
