Friendly staff, sleepy town, great accommodation and parking was nice! Rooms are nice, showers have soaps and shampoos and a little kitchenette to make breakfast and little bar fridge. Second time staying!

Beautiful little bush retreat not far from civilization with a fireplace, spa and really comfortable bed, couldn't ask for any more. Would highly recommend this place for a getaway.

Cute room layout with one twin and a double. Very clean unit, complementary water/coffee/tea/and little biscuits. Felt homey. Parking right in front of our door, and though I didn’t use it, a clean pool surrounded by hedges and lovely plants. Towels in great shape, comfortable beds. Located close to restaurants and pubs and next to a gas station with great coffee and snacks, yet back from the road and very quiet

Alstonville has all you need.

Alstonville has all you need. Supermarket, take aways, coffee shops, a pub a cheap eats bowls club. Museum and family friendly farm to visit. If you want bush walks, you got them. If you want the beach, it's 15mins away.

Very pretty town on the plateau above Ballina, great variety...

Very pretty town on the plateau above Ballina, great variety of specialty shops, cafes and eating options. Houses next door to the motel had very interesting front yards which could keep children and adults amused for ages looking at the weird and wonderful collection of items displayed. 10 minute drive into Ballina for all the big shops.

Alstonville is a beautiful little town with lots of interesting picnic spots nearby for the kids. The Settlers motel is fantastic. Clean modern and has everything you need. Very friendly staff. Coukd have stayed forever!

The fact that it was situated in the suburbs meant a very quite and peaceful stay. The hostess was very welcoming and the facilities were above and beyond my expectation. I recommend this property to travellers as it was lovely. Close to the main street for meals.

Alstonville itself is a charming little village above...

Alstonville itself is a charming little village above Ballina. Great coffee shops and restaurants, all reasonably priced. People friendly and lots to see within short driving distance. Accommodation: Tiny is the operative word. Nice kitchen and bathroom, but nowhere to hang clothes or put suitcases. Found nice motel down the road and would be too much to expect a refund from the uninhabitable little house owners.

The tiny house accommodation was perfect, it had everything...

The tiny house accommodation was perfect, it had everything that you will need for a stay , washing machine, also included. The host even had a camping chair for me to use ( upon my request) as I was at a baseball tournament in Lismore . I would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking to stay

The staff were very accommodating of our late arrival. Our cottage was impressively clean and it was neatly arranged to allow space for our family. Beds were comfortable and the location was beautiful...so tranquil! Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the facilities as the kids really wanted to try the bushwalk, pool, wood fire pizza oven, collect some fruit and, of course, feed the animals! Definitely keen to return when we next travel through Alstonville!

Why had car issues and the staff at Alstonville settlers were fantastic! Shifted us into rooms in between their heavily packed schedule over a busy week end. Offered a lift into town for groceries. Offered a local mechanics details. Made sure our stay was comfortable with extra linen and towels.

This home is exceptional. Every aspect is tasteful and considered. For a group of 7 adults there was space and options. The Main Street with many cafes is only a few minutes walk, also a great hotel, supermarket, pharmacy etc are all close by.
