The staff were very helpful, the room clean and warm, over sized towels, comfortable beds, fresh white doonas, fridge, big TV, good size fridge and coffee making facilities.
Fantastic location, walk to restaurants nearby, Thai, Mexican , Fish and Chips and coffee cafes with breakfast, the post office and supermarket.also right there.

The accommodation was great after a long drive, and it was...
The accommodation was great after a long drive, and it was really good to come to the Kinross Inn with a warm room on a freezing night. In the morning we left a bit later than planned due to the fog and very heavy frost, our room was warm and having the car under shelter also made it much easier for driving rather than scraping frost of the windows and windscreen.

We caught the train to Canberra then a coach link to Cooma.
We caught the train to Canberra then a coach link to Cooma. We got off the bus and were so happy to see the town of Cooma. There was plenty of shops and cafes as well as within walking distance from the Motel. We were going there to visit the snowy mountains and had made reservations for the Cooma coaches to transport us to the snow slopes each day. That was easy! On a budget the whole trip was so enjoyable and I cant wait to do it all again!

Beautiful Town, a visit to Mount Gladstone early morning to see the district and some snow.
The fantastic Correctional Facility Museum crammed with a lot of information, run well by the delightful staff there.

I missed going to Charles Davis gallery which is something to do next time. Great breakfast at 123 Cafe. Lunch with a friend at the Ex-servicemen's club ...delicious food and very friendly staff.
The drive to Cooma is also delightful. I would like to have done the Railway museum but it is open on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Saturdays (next time). A shame the rail is still not operating ...Love Cooma...so much more to do.

Good stop over town or place to stretch your legs.
Good stop over town or place to stretch your legs. Has a lovely historic town walk, great cafes, bakery and the pub is good too. Some good clothes shops, craft shops. Not to forget the historic Cooma Gaol is still in use. A picnic on the Murrumbidgee River and walk along the river is always worth it.

Cooma has a beautiful park right at the shopping centre.
Cooma has a beautiful park right at the shopping centre. There is an abundance shops selling everything one could need or wish for. There are many good places to eat from snack level to three course meals. We always enjoy Roses…..a mix of Lebanese and other Mediterranean food.

Town itself was average; Pub meal was $160 for 2 adults and a teenager and was average too. The town itself was missing a lot of shops and nothing really to look at or do, we would never stop here again and there are better service towns in better locations.

A fantastic hotel. A large room for the price, well set up and with a great bed and furniture. The view from the room was great, with wallabies grazing outside the window. The hotel is a block back from the main street, so unlike many Cooma hotels there isn't traffic noise at night (lots of heavy traffic goes through Cooma). Great value for money, it will now be my go-to for future visits.

Great accomodation for an overnight stay in Cooma, located above the Cooma Hotel. The room was very comfortable, clean and warm in winter with heaters and electric blankets. The bathroom was modern and tidy with very good water pressure. Would recommend getting dinner in the pub too, which serves nice pub classics.

The property was very clean and well located right on the main road in Cooma. The people managing the motel were very nice and let us check in early by about an hour and a half, which was much appreciated. The views from the front of the hotel were lovely as well.
