Pool was heated thus kids swam anytime they wanted including in rain, and pool area is great and steam room was a bit of fun for the kids - beats crown terrigal and nearly as good as ramada shoal bay They upgraded my family booking and gave us 11 am checkout which was greatly appreciated and very helpful Nothing was a problem for the staff Room well resourced with microwave toaster kettle even electric frypan (which we did not need to use but handy to have) Room had two beds plus pull out sofa TV was biggest screen ive seen in a hotel which was great location super handy for cruises and eateries / supermarket

Loved the property.

Loved the property. It was a beautiful place to stay so nice and quiet. More amenities (salt, pepper, paper towel, tea towels, shampoo and conditioner ) would have been lovely to have. It does need a deep clean of bathrooms, skirting boards, marks on walls, holes in wall near front door & flyscreens need fixing as flies were bad. A lot of spiders inside and outside near pool but being near bush and water it is expected. All in all I would book again as the check in process was so easy & the host was so lovely and accommodating.

The area is very racist, most of the locals don't like the tourists. I have stayed in most parts around the Bay and by far Soldiers point is still number one. You need to swallow your tongue in Corlette and just ignore the rudeness of the so called rich folk, who are not that rich. My 20yr old son is worth more than most of them. down by the water is the best accommodation if you can find one and hope the neighbour is barrable

This location is a seaside suburb that is also a tourist...

This location is a seaside suburb that is also a tourist town. It would appear to me that it is set up for the holidays when people come in numbers in the warmer months. It would be good for families as there are activities for the kids and beaches all around. The area is easy to get around and most facilities are reasonably close, so there wasn't too many issues with navigation or driving long distances when you are there. Mid week has the retired people frequenting the lookouts, cafe's and attractions, which is good as it keeps the businesses running and the locals in a job. I am not a beach goer, but for those that are, the beaches I saw seem to be good for families. An interesting place and it is quite attractive.

Loved it.

Loved it. There is a great walk along the foreshore to take you to up to Nelson Bay. It’s a beautiful part of the world. Close to Sydney, peaceful, scenic with lovey white sandy beaches with warm water.
