There is plenty to do in Corowa.

There is plenty to do in Corowa. Fishing, golfing, and tennis are big. The community club is very good. The wineries in the district are first class. There are a good selection of hotels, some restaurants and takeaways. Corowa is close to other towns and the City of Albury.

Corowa is a typical Australian country town.

Corowa is a typical Australian country town. The people are friendly. There aren’t enough shops or places to eat. You need to travel a distance if you want a choice. We did like The Noodle House for both a coffee and a meal. The Barrel and Brew is quite good for coffee. Disappointed the Australia Hotel was not open for dinner Sunday night over a long holiday weekend. But Corowa is nice and close to Rutherglen and the wineries.

LOVED it there are great shops there for shopping, friendly country town. Got Vinnies op shop there very cheap nice staff. Lots of yummy coffee and food shops, a few pubs and clubs. Very lay back country town.

Corowa is the birth place of Federation, Has a Whisky & Chocolate factory as well as being in close vicinity to the Rutherglen Winery District. The town is blessed with historic buildings and situated on the Murray River.

Beautiful sleepy town.

Beautiful sleepy town. Only two pubs and a club open (public holiday long weekend). The Australian history was fascinating about the federation. Clean and easy walking into town, one very long Main Street. Must come back in the daytime to visit local shops.

Corowa has a great park for the kids and lots of lovely...

Corowa has a great park for the kids and lots of lovely walking paths alongside the river and other places. The golf club has a cinema with up-to-date movies and snack options, very comfortable seating. The caravan park we stayed at is very well appointed next to the river and has good play equipment, games room and jumping pillow for the kids.

Loved everything about this very unique boutique Hotel. With all of its history and the linkage between it and industry in the town, including the Whisky and Chocolate factory and the surrounding wineries. John and Jen who run the Hotel were outstanding in every possible way! Loved the bank vault library and wine cellar and the continental breakfast was as good as you will get anywhere. The coffee was high end also.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was clean and very spacious. The location was central and parking was onsite and easy. The motel was off the road so there was no road noise. We stayed with our two dogs and six month old and had plenty of room. There was plenty of grass area for the dogs. The hotel was very family friendly. Thank you for having us.

My stay at Corowa caravan park was excellent. Great clean accommodation for the price, beautiful large bush park on the Murray river, have a great stay and enjoyed the BBQ area and free use of the fire pits at the river. The new owners were an absolute pleasure to deal with.
