Highly recommend this spot!! Denise was so thoughtful and the breakfast was fantastic. The cottage was very well-appointed and comfortable. The location is very convenient to the beach as well as local wineries.

We had a wonderful stay at Kaz’s house. The home is very new and beautifully presented with all amenities that we required to have a very comfortable stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when visiting the area.

The aircon warmed the room quickly thank goodness as weather was wet and cold. We were not interested in the swimming pool. Adequate kitchenette to enable coffees, breakfast and easy dinner. Situated near a main road but still quiet. Rabbits and rosellas were lovely in the garden area.

Had a booking at the local pub for dinner Saturday night and enjoyed the meal and the staff friendly then played a round of mini golf on Sunday at the driving range great course plus had lunch that was tasty great all-round weekend close to everything that the area has to offer

My stay Lake and Railway guesthouse was absolutely amazing! Such a cozy and quiet home, a couple minutes drive from a supermarket and restaurants. The guest house was clean had a kettle, microwave cutlery and a fridge. There’s also an outdoor area to sit on nice sunny days, as well as a very comfy bed to sleep in! The TV also has guest TV platforms to watch all the latest shows, overall highly recommend!

Went to Drysdale to ride the Q train, However the countryside and the native birds and rabbits made an extra dimension. The Bellerine peninsula holds many unsung delights and the location at Drysdale was ideal. The Dairy was perfect spot, clean and comfortable. On a longer trip we would have enjoyed the facilities provided by our hosts to a much greater extent.

Drysdale is a very underrated area!

Drysdale is a very underrated area! We loved our stay and the chance to explore Queenscliff as well. The only thing we would suggest is that, especially given the long weekend, we relied heavily on what we could find online for markets, store and various activities. There were a few occasions where there were conflicting info regarding opening hours (even over the long weekend) and a couple of times where we were sure they were open, made the drive out only to find they closed.

Our stay at The Dairy cottage & The Q train experience, were exceptional. Enjoyed dining at “Jack Rabbit”, & the view was great! Was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the public toilets…not good! Also the information centre is very poorly signed, also no pre signage when arriving, to indicate where it is, or flag out the front.

Lovely unit .Well decorated lounge kitchenette large bedroom and a modern bathroom all spotlessly clean.Host were great to communicate with and turned on the a/c for us prior to our arrival.Directly opposite the Q train railway restaurant train and the lake.Property behind a house on the main road so quiet with no road noise. 20 min walk to Drysdale shops and restaurants.

Perfect location for family reunion and wedding on The Bellarine. With a hire car it was possible to take day trips from Drysdale. Public transport nearby also and very good taxi and car hire within the area.
