The area we stayed in was quiet and felt very safe.

The area we stayed in was quiet and felt very safe. The homes around us were lovely with lovely gardens. There were people out walking, running, walking their dogs occasionally and there's so much beautiful Birdlife there. It's close to beaches and not that far from a Tea Tree swimming lake that's safe for the family, spacious, sheltered and clean. Lots of parking as well. Shopping is very close for anything you could need or want. Love it! We will be back!!

East Ballina area has something for everyone.

East Ballina area has something for everyone. A surf club and patrolled beaches, child friendly riverside swimming areas, restaurants, cafes, pubs, coastal walks and views. The airport is only 15 mins away by car. Plenty of folk out walking dogs, or riding bikes too. We recommend Capiche at the East Ballina Surf Club. It's right on the ocean, so the views are incredible.

East Ballina has a fantastic off leash dog beach.

East Ballina has a fantastic off leash dog beach. Good cafes and restaurants. Loads of walking tracks and clean beaches. At the end of the breakwater we saw a large pod of Dolphins and further out we could see whales breaching. Shelley Beach was the best for swimming.

The markets on Sunday are just down the road and city centre...

The markets on Sunday are just down the road and city centre not far away.. The river, the ocean and other dog friendly beaches are only minutes away and the great Shaws Bay hotel is walking distance from property I love it..😻

Lovely beaches with clear water and rock pools at Flat Rock. Not busy. Attractive waterfront. Walking/cycling path from Lennox to the river entrance. Good restaurants in nearby Ballina and Lennox and Shelly Beach.

A lovely little dog-friendly location, with a massive dog...

A lovely little dog-friendly location, with a massive dog off leash area and close to the dog beach en route to the pretty little riverside town of Ballina. Lots of lovely walks around Shaw’s Bay and a short drive to other interesting locations to the north and south or in the hinterland.
