This is a gem in the beautiful hinterland of the Sunshine Coast. The owner, Keith, is a legend. He has restored this very special spot into an amazing collection of rooms, relaxation spots, breakfast / kitchen area, and hidden walks. Art and sculptures have been dotted around the property, along with wonderful plants, and quirky signs. We also met Sally, who works alongside Keith. Super welcoming and friendly, she made us feel right at home. Thank you both for a wonderful stay. Hope to visit again in the future. The property is a short drive to stunning hikes, beautiful towns, quirky shops, and much more. Highly recommend a stay at Glass House Mountains Eco Lodge.

We had perfect celebration for my partner’s birthday at Spicers Tamarind Retreat in Maleny. It was absolutely lovely! Nestled in a gorgeous private, tropical setting. Excellent villa accommodation and an outstanding restaurant. We loved it 🩷

Recommend 100% Best place we have ever stayed in. Wish we had booked another night or two. Host lovely, and the whole house was spotless. Cannot fault anything. Breakfast was also included and Jen catered for Gluten Free and Dairy free options which I actually needed. Thanks Jen

The views in this area were spectacular and a variety of walks - some steep and others like the Mary Cairnross walk were quite flat - through a stunning rainforest. We saw some beautiful birds - curlew, butcher birds. finches etc. Some great lookouts and lovely little towns. The hosts at Jen's Getaway were the highlight of our three night stay and the tranquil setting provided the icing on the cake for us. Kanagoos were also a hit!

I had seen only from the M1 back in the mid '80s and promised myself to check it out when the opportunity arose. This area did not disappoint - a completely stunning and surreal landscape. My only negative is I could have spent a lot longer in the area.

the views are stunning but viewing points are few and far between. not many safe points to stop along the roads. facilities at the main viewing point are great with many picnic tables great lookout tower and clean toilet blocks. plenty of information boards explaining how the rocks were formed.

I had an amazing stay at Glass on Glasshouse.

I had an amazing stay at Glass on Glasshouse. The space is beautiful and filled with natural light, creating a calm and cozy atmosphere. It’s fully furnished with everything you need and feels very thoughtfully designed. Perfect for couples looking for a relaxing getaway. The large bathtub was a highlight such a luxurious touch and ideal for unwinding. I would absolutely stay here again.

Loved being out in the mountain area with the views.

Loved being out in the mountain area with the views. Peaceful and as relaxing as you want it to be although there is so much to do and so many places to go. Hard to fit it all in so stick to the list you have made prior. Don't forget your insect repellant before you go ip Moumt Ngungun or you will get eaten and come down with 20+ bites!!!!! Other than that it was fab 😀

Very clean, almost brand new, and very quiet. Behind the large floor-to-ceiling glass wall is a natural forest. The bed quality is excellent. Nearby attractions include: Glass House Mountains Lookout, Wild Horse Mountain Lookout, McCarthy’s Lookout, and the Maleny/Montville hill towns.
