Everything about this place is exceptional. The owners are truly wonderful and have put so much care into refurbishing these carriages and they are absolutely beautiful! We couldn't get over how beautifully and thoughtfully they were decorated. I wish we could have stayed for longer this time but we will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future. We've been telling everyone we meet about this place. We've traveled a lot and have stayed in holiday accommodations and this is one of my favorite places I've ever stayed.

Unfortunately, we only had a brief overnight stay in Greta, so no time to explore but its proximity to the Hunter Valley is a great bonus. We did get takeaway kebabs from the local takeaway shop; they were quite good and the two ladies running the business were very helpful and friendly.

Lovely town in the Hunter region, with some history, with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Chocolate, cheese and wine tastings, vineyard tours, so you don't need to worry about driving. The nearby Hunter Valley Gardens are also interesting and beautiful.
