A gorgeous place to enjoy all that the coast offers.

A gorgeous place to enjoy all that the coast offers. Very family oriented. A significant stretch of the beach is dog-friendly but the creek and surrounding areas are not - so something for everyone. A lovely little village, though not much there in HP itself. Plenty, though, in nearby Cabarita and Pottsville.

Hastings Point has a nice little Beach Vibe going. on. It's a great location to stay with close proximity to Pottsville & Bogangar. We enjoyed the Beach & Estuary & loved seeing all the Seabirds. Pottsville, Bogangar & Cabarita Beach have lots of Coffee Shops, Thai take away & Restaurant's. We did a spot of shopping at Bogangar returning with some lovely souvenirs of our weekend escape. The Beach Hotel at Cabarita has a decent Restaurant & was buzzing the night we visited for dinner. We will happily return again & next time stay longer to enjoy all the expansive Coastal beauty.

Hastings Point is a beautiful and quiet place to visit (outside of school holidays). The Estuary is ideal for swimming, snorkelling, fishing and kayaking, or simply relaxing on the beach and enjoying the sound of the surf off in the distance or enjoying watching some of the many birds in the area. The Point is particularly worth a visit although, bring your own chair if you want to relax up there for a while as there is no seating. We have stayed at the small caravan park, south of the bridge, in one of their Glamping tents and in one of the apartments overlooking the creek and we still love the place. The local store provides supplies and is a great spot to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. We also drive to Cabarita, just up the road, when in need of more significant supplies from Woolworths Supermarket. We took a few lovely drives including down to Byron Bay, Alstonville (inland from Ballina) and had a wonderful lunch at a pub in Mullumbimby serving great meals for only $20 with the best chips I've ever eaten.

It's a very pretty sleepy holiday spot.

It's a very pretty sleepy holiday spot. The waterways are good for families. Essentials are available from the service station, and there is a restaurant and a large well kept caravan resort as well. The other seaside villages with supermarkets and a range of cafes and restaurants are very accessible. Great seafood at the Stunned Mullet in Cabarita. The French Patisserie at SALT has delicious pastries and snacks. Excellent headland to whale spot in the season.

The location was good, in that you could easily walk to Hastings Point and Cudgera Creek. Cabarita and other attractions in the area probably require a car although I don't know about buses in the area . Plenty of onsite parking The unit Itself was roomy and warm and had everything we needed. Having a washing machine and dryer was a bonus. Also having a television with free to view channels and the free Wifi was good. We also loved the nesting curlews in the garden opposite the unit.

We love hastings point and have stayed at the cove many times before it changed hands..we like the rooms and the pool area and the creek is great for young children to swim and play around :) It is close to pottsville and cabarita for food places and shopping facilities.. its an amazing family getaway for relaxing, swimming and fishing!

The location and unit were great. The place was nice and clean. It had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. We could even see whales from the balcony! Access to the beach was so easy. Would definitely recommend.
